Jeremy and Tanya are 40 somethings who gave up their careers to travel the world and search for a new home base - and were introduced to house sitting along the way.

We have used Trustedhousesitters for many years and have over 50 sits with all 5 star reviews. You can find our profile on that site (or ask us for a link). We also have an Instagram hashtag #tandjpetsitting with some fun pic's from our sits.

We have done some long sits, up to 6 months, and generally prefer to take care of cats. We are responsible people who used to own a nice home, so we understand the care and details needed to make sure everything is running well. We are not party people, non-smokers, and take pride in treating our hosts homes as if we are invited guests.

Jeremy's hobbies include rock climbing, yoga, diving, and all things coffee. He worked as an electrical engineer and has the ability to trouble shoot house/technology issues and is great at keeping a tidy house. Tanya worked as a physician, but has picked up some animal medicine along the way. We have administered medications via pill, liquid, injectable and inhaled! Tanya's hobbies include knitting, learning foreign languages, and reading.

Tanya and Jeremy were fantastic house sitters. They took wonderful care of our cat, Morris, and were obviously very experienced and comfortable with all aspects of cat care, happy to give medication etc. They also alerted us to a potential medical issue that we are now investigating. Morris was almost disappointed to see us when we returned, he was so happy with Tanya and Jeremy. Tanya and Jeremy were wonderful sitters for our little Luna. They sent regular pictures while we were away, and we could see that Luna was really cared for and was given a lot of love and attention. When we returned from our holiday, Luna was super-chilled and relaxed, and it was evident that she had enjoyed her time with her house guests.
