ROMINA ANDRADA & LAUTARO ALONSO

Hi, I am Romina and I travel with my husband Lautaro. We met 14 years ago and from that moment we are inseparable.
We are a 32-year-old couple from Argentina. We lived in Rosario until 2022. We are both chemists; Lau worked in a chemical laboratory, and I worked in a laboratory within a children's hospital. After the pandemic, we decided to quit our jobs to explore a different way of living, discovering each country, its nature and its customs. We love learning and opening our minds to the diverse traditions around the world. (These years traveling we learned a little English and Italian; speaking in another language with people from all over the world was amazing)

I have had dogs and cats since I was a little girl. Pets have become much more of a family member than just a pet. We are active volunteers at our local animal shelter and rescue street dogs and cats, giving them care, veterinary assistance, food and a home. Therefore, we are used to help small and large animals, know their behavior and realize immediately if something is wrong. Our first volunteering experience was in England in 2022, where we took care of pets. It was a wonderful experience, where strangers became family and entrusted us with their precious pets and homes. Taking care of pets fills our hearts with love, it is our hobby. That same year, we traveled to Australia and lived in Sydney for six months. We studied English at an academy, connecting with people from all over the world, which was magical. The most wonderful part was looking after pets in exchange for accommodation. In Sydney, we took care of six homes for extended periods, some exceeding two weeks and, in some cases, up to a month. We worked and were responsible for cleaning three theaters. Then we traveled to Townsville in 2023, a tourist town in Queensland, where we lived for a year. There, we led a quieter life, working in a hotel as housekeeper. We also took care of pets here, It's always wonderful to have pets around.
This year we visited our country and before returning to Australia, we are visiting some European countries, such as Italy, France and Switzerland. We are currently caring for 2 kittens in the French Alps, a wonderful experience.

We are calm, friendly and have always a smile to offer.We take care of every detail of the home, keeping it cleaned and organized. We don't smoke, we don't drink alcohol, and we're vaccinated against the coronavirus. We would like to be prepared with a very detailed Welcome Guide (before the sit, if possible) to help us to keep your home up to your standards. We will follow all the rules and be happy to send regular text messages, videos and photos if you want to be updated while you are away.
The care of your home and your pets will be our priority; we will try them not to notice your absence.
