Semi retired and recently returned from overseas travel.
I relocated to the Gold Coast from Victoria early 2024 and also resumed house sitting.
I am a former home and pet owner, non smoker and rare social drink. I grew up with a combination of dogs, cats, birds and chooks. I also had a horse and competed in equestrian events when younger. I take great care in following dietary and other requirements for your pets and as a result have great references. Keeping your plants healthy and the garden neat and tidy isn’t an issue either.
If caring for your dog/s I would ask they have some level of training on lead as I’m more than happy to walk them several times a day to keep their routine, explore the neighborhood. If they like to play all the better as I like to do that as well.
I would prefer house sits a minimum of 2 weeks and potentially up to several months in the right conditions. I don’t charge in return to care for your pets and the respectful use of your home as if it were my own.

Michael was very caring of our tricky little cat and kept us updated with pics and information. He also worked with her to try and calm her. The house and plants were in fine condition. Highly recommend Michael.

Michael was an excellent house sitter. He took the time to come and visit several times before we departed to understand our requirements. We immediately felt very comfortable leaving our home and our cat Alfie in his care. His level of communication was greatly appreciated as he took the time to update us via Whatsapp and reassure us that everything back home was being taken care of.
