PLEASE NOTE: At this stage I am only available to house-sit in rural or remote locations and I am unable to care for dogs who require walking on a lead.

Hello, I'm Li and I love nature, animals and being in new locations. I've spent the last 7 years working in ecological restoration and am taking a break to recuperate and explore holistic healing for both people and pets.

I am a non-smoker and am known for being organised, diligent and quiet. I grew up on a hobby farm with sheep, goats, chooks and ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs, ponies, a few quiet house cows and one-eyed kelpie called Sam. I also really love cats and have lived with and cared for a few, whose company I still miss.

I have house and pet-sat for relatives, friends and colleagues, and have also done a bit of Helpx volunteering in NSW and VIC. Other life experience and interests include work in production nurseries, basic wildlife rescue and care, Permaculture Design and energy healing for landscapes.

I'm looking for lower care pets and places in quiet spots at the moment, as I'm rebuilding my strength and sound tolerance, particularly over the next 6 months or so.

Liza was an excellent housesitter and we highly recommend her. She took wonderful care of our two cats, Tyrion and Candy, giving them plenty of attention and following their routines. The cats were happy and relaxed when we returned. Liza also maintained our house and garden beautifully. The house was spotless and she did some watering to keep our vegie patch healthy. Liza is a wonderful house sitter! She looked after my house and cat beautifully, sent me pictures and updates, was relaxed, friendly and easy to communicate with. She came over and met the cat and I so we could run through everything before the house sit which I really appreciated! I came home to a happy content cat and a spotless house!
