Greetings from Andy&Gary!

We're a couple -64 and 51 years old, but young at heart -, met when I came to Au to study first time 22 years ago.
Gary's from Melbourne and he has a background in the building industry. I'm from Hungary originally and have a background in Sociology and Social Work.
We also have a background in Property Management. We spent over 10 years in Perth where we worked together as guesthouse managers and property managers of short and long term residential properties.
With this experience we have a very good idea about the responsibilities of looking after someone else's property.
House sitting came into our life accidently. First it meant to be just a last minute holiday. But we soon realised we enjoy so many aspects of this life style. In the past year we had many wonderful experiences and after each house sitting we were invited back again. So now we have many two as well as four legged new friends.
We don't smoke and prefer a quiet, healthy life style.
While Gary is semi-retired he still takes up work time to time. I - on the other hand - stay at home most of the time so your animal(s) and house will never be left alone too long. Gary used to have pets, dogs and cats as well but now we don't have any. Even I've never had pets before I find it easy to make connections with them and what I find impossible is not to love them.
We love beaches so properties near water would be preferred but it would be considered any well kept, clean home and animal.
Please consider us. Your precious babies will be loved and your home will be looked after as well as they would be ours. So you can have a peace of mind while you need to be away from home.

Andrea and Gary were the most phenomenal doggo sitters we could have asked for. They genuinely cared for our dogs, despite them being strong big boys and a handful. They were extremely communicative and we got frequent photographs of the dogs and updates on their well-being. While we asked they try to get one walk in a day, neighbours said they saw Gary going above and beyond giving the boys often two walks a day and taking the boys for ocean swims (their favourite). We loved having Andrea, Gary (and their little dog Chilli) house sit for us. Communication was excellent as was their care for our dogs and home. This is the first time that we have allowed another dog to stay - we met Chilli before we agreed. She is a lovely little dog and our dogs were very comfortable with her. Absolutely wonderful experience with Andrea and Gary. Very communicative right from the start as the sit was planned months in advance. They checked in about once a month to confirm the sit was still going ahead and also came over to meet the boys and let them met Chilli (their little dog). There is not enough stars to give these guys! They were amazing start to finish. We met them before we said yes to check Nala was happy, she LOVED THEM! We weren’t sure about having another dog in our house but Andi went above and beyond even took Chilli to the vets to see how much she shed (turns out basically zero) and then updated us, chilli is adorable!. We highly recommend Andy and Gary for your next house sit. This was our first time using aussie house sitters and we were naturally nervous about asking someone who we didn't know to house sit and mind our little doggie. We needn't have worried! And and Gary were amazing. They took great care of our house and garden. Our dog was well loved while we were away and I don't know if she even missed us!
