Aleisha

Hi there! I'm Aleisha, an aspiring author and conservationist from Brisbane. I've just returned from South Africa where I lived and studied as a Field Guide for five months, learning and observing animal behaviour in the wild! Previously, I worked as an Executive Assistant for a government department. When I'm not travelling, you can find me snuggling with animals, painting, writing, reading, or hiking.
Growing up on what I would call a junior farm with chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and more animals than I can list, I am a passionate animal lover and love nothing more than looking after and showering every animal with love!

Last year, I lived in Lapland, Finland, where I took care of and helped train and exercise 86 Siberian huskies! I learnt every single one of their names. I am also currently helping my family to care for and raise three stray kittens that wandered into our care, and I love them to bits!

Now that I've returned to Australia, I'm looking to housesit in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. I'm currently on the job hunt and will be updating my availability once my employment is secured in the new year. I'm a respectful and considerate housesitter who will treat your pets like my own.

My previous experiences have included:
- distributing medicine and applying topical treatment to dogs
- taking care of newborn puppies and kittens as well as senior animals
- daily meal preparation and distribution to dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and geese
- daily exercise for dogs
- endless cuddles!
