We are in English couple who are fortunate to have houses in UK, Sydney and Morocco and now travel between our visits. My partner is a doctor, so often we will be looking to housesit where he will be working as a GP locum. I run our business online and work from home, so I am able to keep a close eye on your home and ensure your pets are extremely well cared for.

We find housesitting provides us with the flexibility our lifestyle requires. We love to travel and experience different places but it is also wonderful to have a base for a while and discover somewhere new. Also, we are keen pet lovers, my husband loves cats so this enables us to babysit them! We also have experience in puppy and dog training and have looked after dogs from Greyhounds to Cavoodles and others in between!

We are well travelled and renovated houses in 5 countries, so DIY tasks are easily undertaken. We are caring pet lovers, my partner is often called The Cat Whisperer! We are fit and love walking, aiming for 8km per day but can do less if this is too far for your dog!

Sometimes words seem woefully inadequate. This is one of those occasions. We needed sitters last minute. They stepped up to the plate and calmly absorbed a lightening fast intro to our place and critters! I was particularly stressed but they continued to be full of reassurance.
The peace of mind we felt on the spot, helped us to scurry off without fear.
Not only were the animals perfectly cared for, our place also benefited by repairs (a faulty sliding glass door to name just one thing!)….Abi and Mike felt like old friends that shooed us off to do what we had to…..stellar couple!
You’ll be fortunate to find them available I suspect, if you do, do not hesitate to select them! Lucky you!

Abi and mike were great housesitters. They looked after my home, shy cat Dennis and kept my plants and garden watered. Abi sent me daily reassuring updates and pics of my cat. She left my home spotlessly clean and even some very welcome fresh milk and salad in my fridge. Wow! Abi and Mike were amazing! I simply can't fault them. We left after a 5 minute handover and I knew my cat, Percy was in the warmest, safest of hands and that my home, too, would be very well Looked after. They seemed like lovely people, very friendly, capable and willing to go the extra mile. My only regret was that we didn't get to spend more time together - I think we would have got along famously over a leisurely G&T! I wouldn't hesitate to ask Abi and Mike back - and I'm sure Percy would be pleased too

It was such peace of mind knowing that Abi and Mike were looking after Munchkin our cat, and keeping the house secure and warm to come home to. Munchkin was very relaxed and in perfect health on our return, and the house was just as we had had left it, tidy and clean. Abi and Mike are fantastic. I left my three cats with them for three weeks without worrying at all. On top of that one cat needed care because of surgery in one eye. She is totally fine now. Everything was perfect and it has been a pleasure meeting them. I highly recommend them.

It was a pleasure to leave Abi and Mike in charge of Gertie , the hens and the house. Abi was very efficient from the initial contact and you felt the house would be safe in her hands! We were happy to go away in that knowledge. We did not see them on our return but the house was very tidy and clean - probably cleaner than when we left! Gertie was exceedingly well and happy - I could not recommend them more highly.

Abi and Mike were our first ever housesitters and we couldn't have asked for better. They were amazing with Bob and super house guests. They sent us daily updates which were very reassuring for us. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet in person but all communication was lovely and friendly. They left the house as they found it and even a parting gift! They did anything that was asked of them such as putting out the bins and watering plants etc. They were so kind to Bob. He can be a bit strange so patience is needed at times but he was no bother to them. We are so grateful for everything they did and would highly recommend them.

We were so lucky to get Abi and Mike at short notice. They just radiate reliability and self-sufficiency. We didn't get to meet to do a handover as they weren't arriving until late the day we left, but having talked with Abi we were absolutely confident that with their level of experience our animals would be in safe and caring hands. They went above and beyond in looking after our dog and 3 cats, taking it as a challenge to fatten up our skinny kitten (she enjoyed this immensely), cleaning the sticky eyes of another cat and generally keeping everyone happy and shiny. The dog clearly had a great time as well. He is a bit tricky in that he wants a lot more exercise than he is strictly allowed due to past surgery and arthritis- we were able to say to Abi and Mike "play it by ear" in the confidence that they would exercise good judgement and get the right balance. We really appreciated their flexibiilty and ability to deal with anything that came up. When we got back the place was spotless- they had tidied up and even done laundry and fixed our dodgy fridge drawer, things I wouldn't have dreamed of asking. In short, they are the ideal sitters, and we couldn't give them enough stars.

Abi & Mike are a friendly relaxed couple, who are natural dog-people. They appear to have adapted easily to my pair of Scottish terriers and the vagaries of their personalities, they sent photos and a message each day, and they left the house clean and tidy. Abi and Mike aka the cat whisperers were wonderful! We had some concerns about leaving our youngest cat Eden who has been very shy and skittish, and then our other cat Oscar was involved in a big fight which meant he had to have daily antibiotics during Abi and Mike's stay, but they were not fazed at all. It wasn't long before they sent pictures of Eden playing and her sitting on Mike's lap, and of Oscar looking very happy in the garden. We couldn't have hoped for a better first experience of Trusted Housesitters!
The house was spotless on our return and Abi offered to get some essentials, which we didn't need but the offer was greatly appreciated. The cats looked a bit disappointed when we got back and they saw it was us instead of their new best friends!

Hi, Abi did our first ever house sit and looked after our 2 very active talkative Bengal cats. We were a bit nervous how the cats would be with strangers in the house but Abi was amazing , sent me photos and messages every day to reassure that they were happy and content and left the house in a lovely clean condition. Absolutely superb care for our two Burmese boys from Abi and Mike. Returned home to shiny, happy pussocks- the 'glove of love' had clearly been used. House super clean, everything tidy and even an odd job we'd been putting off for a few weeks got done by Abi, which was super thoughtful. Can't recommend highly enough. ***** 5 stars all the way.

Lovely couple, very self-sufficient, organised and looked after Timba for the week so well - including sending daily photos and videos. Due to my departure and their arrival time we did a video handover which worked great. Highly recommend! Timba was on great form when I returned and the house was too. Abi and Mike were great house sitters. They came to me because I had broken my arm and was unable to do much and then had an operation on it which extended the healing time further. They therefore extended their stay with me to help with this situation. I could not recommend them more highly, nothing was too much trouble for them. They did everything necessary here and were good company as well. I was very sorry to see them leave and would recommend them to any future host and hope to see them as friends in the future.

Abi & Mike looked after our 11cats, 3 hens, 4 squirrels & a myriad of wild birds for the month of November. They supplied us with regular updates & pictures - left our home gleaming & most importantly successfully managed to integrate 2 of our newer cats into the household - something that we were unable to do. It was obvious that all our furries loved them & were a little miffed when we returned. Given the lockdown situation we were so grateful that Abi & Mike travelled to us - it can't have been easy to be so restricted but they never mentioned it. Abi & Mike are a wonderful couple - completely self sufficient - if you get the opportunity to book them - don't hesitate.

Abi and Mike looked after our three Siamese cats for a week in October 2020. We received photos and updates everday which was lovely and we could see from the photos that the cats were completely happy and relaxed with them. When we got back the cats were in great shape and the house was imaculate. One of our cats is quite eldery and messes and vomits a lot and Abi was so sweet and kind about that and she cleaned up perfectly everytime. I would have Mike and Abi back to look after the cats anytime they can manage it and would recommend them without hesitation.

We were lucky to have Abi and Mike house-sit for us - they are true professionals, very experienced and you can tell. When you come back you can hardly tell they've been in the place (in a good way!): the dog was relaxed and content; the house was spick and span; everything was exactly as we left it. They clearly had done everything we had asked with the dog, the garden, the level of communication we wanted etc, but they also knew when to use their own initiative and common sense. It was lovely to meet them the day before the sit started, put names to faces etc, but if you had to do a 'blind' sit with them, it wouldn't matter; they would work everything out and are very self-sufficient. They also left us a lovely apple crumble - thank you! I hope that our dates align in the future and that they will be able to return to do another sit. I can most certainly warmly recommend them as great house sitters to anyone else.

Abi & Mike took brilliant care of my 4 -5 month old kitten, including administering medication twice daily for ringworm. They are also genuinely lovely people who I enjoyed talking to and receiving daily updates from while I was away. They really went the extra mile with the cleaning and I could not be more grateful! Abi and Mike looked after Findlay for about 2 weeks in Sept 2020. They signed up at short notice after our sitter had to self isolate. They are a lovely couple, very well organised and dedicated to looking after both our cat and our house. They kept us up to date, so we were reassured that they and Findlay were enjoying each other's company. On our return the house was spotless and Findlay was in perfect condition (fast asleep!). Abi and Mike house sat for us for a week whilst we went on holiday. It's the first time we had used the site and it was a wonderful experience. They put us completely at ease, even though our dog can be quite unpredictable with other dogs on walks etc!
We were sent regular photos of our dog and cat and we returned to an extremely tidy house, very happy pets, and even a fridge stocked with basics, which we were very grateful for after a day of travelling.

Abi and Mike are first class sitters. They came to see us a few days before the actual sit and familiarised themselves with Ozzy and our house. We were thus able to leave feeling very confident and reassured that all would be well. They are a most engaging and interesting couple.

Abi and Mike came to look after our shy but lively cocker, Coco. They took the trouble of coming down to see us and walk with Coco several days before we left, so that they could get to know her. While we were away we received photos and updates, and it was great to know that Coco was having lovely long walks up on the South Downs (despite the weather). We came home to a very relaxed and happy pooch, not to mention a lovely clean house, flowers and basic supplies. We have no hesitation in highly recommending Abi and Mike, who are super organised and will take great care of your pets and home. We would love to have them stay again.

Unfortunately, I didn't meet Steve as he and Abi arrived separately and they both left 30 mins before I got back (my decision, not them deserting their post!). Abi is a delightful lady and my Westie was very happy being with them both. My home was clean and tidy when I returned and Steve had even fixed my guest bed headboard, having had to go out and buy a part beforehand! I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely couple.

Abi & Mike were the most amazing House Sitters! They arrived on time, very friendly and keen to know more about the pets and our home. They gave us up updates on how all the pets were having a wonderful time and some lovely photos.

They even got our cat to have cuddles, and she is not that accepting to people in general, they also taught Barney a new trick! On top of that, the house was left spotless; all the linen was washed, the beds made,
It was just as we left it. Everything was perfect. They were exceptionally kind; leaving bread, milk and fruit for us. The pets were all happy and relaxed by the time we got home. Abi & Mike are wonderful catsitters. We needed someone to take care of our four cats (Mio, Mia, Casper, and Romeo) during a long weekend, and could not have found a better couple than Abi & Mike.

They took very good care of our kitties, even purchasing a hair brush because we couldn't find ours. They sent frequent photos where it was evident that our cats where relaxed and enjoying themselves.

Abi & Mike even washed all the guest bedroom's linens, and left the flat in excellent shape.

We highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable catsitters, and we hope they'll come back to catsit for us in the future.

We have been so fortunate with the house sitters who have looked after Jollity Farm - they just keep getting better and better! Abi and Mike surpassed themselves, they did a fantastic job of caring for our motley crew of animals despite hideous weather, Mike did some fence mending for me to stop our opportunist collie going walkabout, and our cats were truly in love... Abi took on the job of sorting out 'that cupboard'- (everyone has one!!) a job not for the faint hearted... and Mike also sorted out my computer while he was here. This house sit was my very first, so did not know what to expect. I have to say that I was amazed and very agreeably surprised by Abi and Mike's professionalism and cat-whispering skills. My cat Pixie, whom no-one but I have been able to touch/stroke in all her ten and a half years, got inside the duvet with them for a cuddle. Total amazement! On top of that, the house was left spotless, all the linen washed and my open-and-throw-everything-in cupboard organised! When I returned, the cats were thoroughly chilled out, instead of fighting between each other for my attention...
A great introduction to Trusted Housesitters and Abi and Mike will be welcome back any time! I thoroughly recommend them as housesitters.

Abi and Mike Russell stayed for 2 weeks at our home and we really appreciated their effeciency (particularly in dealing with unexpected calls relating to our business) and heart, in looking after our dog Charlie. Abi & Mike were the most amazing Housesitters! Apart from being genuinely friendly, interested and keen to help they went over and above all expectations! Abi sorted out cupboards in the kitchen, always checking with me first, Mike re-planted my son's sunflowers and they were so organised and efficient I couldn't recommend them highly enough. My dogs adored them too. I would love to have them back as housesitters for me again when back from their travels!

Abi & Mike looked after our dogs over a long weekend while we were interstate. I was sent daily photos of the boys being spoilt rotten and arrived home to a very clean house. They looked after our boys like we would, allowing them to cuddle up while relaxing. To top it off they brought their own linen leaving me very little to do on my return. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for house sitting gigs looking after both small and large dogs as well as fish feeding.

Abi and Mike communicated really well throughout. The cats seemed very calm and happy on my return and had obviously loved sharing their home with them, lots of cuddles and tummy rubs. The house was lovely and clean, the bed made and some tricky DIY jobs completed (totally unasked for!). Abi and Mike house sat for us for 8 nights in Feb so we could go skiing. Abi and Mike took amazing care of our Great Dane x Mastiff, taking her on lovely walks we are yet to make ourselves and sending us photo updates during the week of their adventures which was so reassuring. They also took great care of our 2 horses, a 20yr old Cob and a miniature pony. As it was winter the horses were stabled overnight and Abi and Mike mucked out their stables, changed their rugs, fed them, poo picked their fields and picked out their feet, as well as gave my Cob his daily arthritis medication. When we came home, the house was immaculate and Abi and Mike had cooked us an amazing meal and left us a bottle of their favourite wine. I cannot thank them enough for taking such great care of our house and more importantly our dog and horses. It is quite difficult for us to get away and they made it possible for us to have a holiday. We would not hesitate to recommend them as the perfect housesitters who are happy to turn their hands to anything. We would love for Abi and Mike to sit for us again for our next holiday. Abi and Mike housesat for us over Christmas and were fantastic! Super organised, very accommodating, friendly and trusting. They were excellent communicators from the start and really flexible (they even popped over before the housesit to meet us). We would love Abi and Mike to housesit for us again.

Abi sent regular updates and pictures whilst we were away, and they were great with Boots, our cat. He is normally scared of strangers but he obviously warmed to Abi and Mike. We came home to a very happy cat who had clearly enjoyed being with his new friends.

The house was extremely clean and tidy when we returned, and Abi had even done some washing for us and put new sheets on the bed. I can't recommend them highly enough, you really couldn't find better housesitters or nicer people. Happy to provide a verbal or written reference any time.

Abi and Mike were excellent pet/housesitters. From the beginning, Abi was an excellent communicator as well as during the sit.
As well as lovingly looking after our animals and even helping further train my puppy, they were incredibly helpful; Abi helped me with a few household matters, made sure the car was picked up to the garage and Mike fixed a leaky tap for us! In addition, the house was immaculate on our return home and Mike kindly arranged an Easter egg hunt for the kids :-) . I would recommend them in a heartbeat. It was very reassuring knowing we had such capable people looking after our pets and home. I wish them all the best in future house sits.

We couldn't have been happier with Abi's and Mike's housesitting services.
Marly, our 10 month old puppy dog was very well cared for, and our home was left tidy and clean upon our return.
Would recommend them to anyone.
