Ramiro & Rebecca

Hello! We are Ramiro and Rebecca, a fun and adventurous couple passionate about exploring new places and experiencing diverse environments.

Ramiro (Rama):
I’m from the beautiful countryside of Argentina, where I’ve developed a love for physical work and problem-solving. My background in farm work and horticulture has given me plenty of hands-on skills, and I’m pretty handy with carpentry and computers, plus I’ve got some basic welding knowledge.

I’m easygoing, enjoy meeting new people, and love cultural exchanges. I thrive in team settings and am always on the lookout for new challenges and learning opportunities.

Rebecca:
I’m originally from Taiwan and spent two exciting years in Australia working on a strawberry farm and in various packing factories. Before the pandemic, I worked in filmmaking, learning how to paint and decorate movie sets, which was super fun and creative.

I have lots of experience with HelpX, helping hosts with tasks like dog walking, housekeeping, babysitting, cat care, and even some renovation projects. I’m really looking forward to contributing to vibrant communities through work exchanges.

We recently wrapped up a working holiday in New Zealand, gaining even more skills and experiences along the way. We have no trouble with English, so communication is a breeze!

Together, we bring a mix of practical skills, creativity, and a strong work ethic to everything we do. We’re excited about the opportunity to care for your home and pets, making sure they get the best attention and care while you’re away. Although we’re new to Aussie House Sitters, we can provide glowing references from our previous hosts and jobs.
