Ranee

Hello! My name is Ranee (pronounced like Barney, but with an R). I have primarily lived on acreage with various pets and have truly enjoyed the experience. I’ve owned horses, chickens, dogs, and birds, and I’ve even cared for sheep during lambing season—it’s a joy to watch them frolic!

For the past four years, I’ve been traveling around Australia, which has been an incredible adventure. I love discovering new places and meeting locals, and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon, although I do miss having a garden.

I travel with my medium-sized dog, Tilly, who is 8 years old and has some kelpie and staffie in her. She’s very well-behaved and adapts quickly to new environments. Many people have told me they’d get a dog like her if they were guaranteed one. Tilly doesn’t jump on furniture and is considerate of other pets and people.

I have mostly secured house-sitting opportunities through word of mouth, but I’m now looking to plan ahead for my travels. I’m happy to provide references upon request.

I work remotely, providing counseling over the phone, so I will be home most of the time. I don’t party, smoke, or drink alcohol. I lead a healthy lifestyle and enjoy activities like beach walks, bush hikes, gardening, and relaxing.
