After many years as a professional in Aid and Development I have lived and worked in some amazing and challenging developing countries but now semi retired with time on my hands. I still have an adventurous spirit and was delighted to recently discover house sitting which suits my character very well. It allows me to be closer to my adult children in Australia but also provide the opportunity to discover new places.

I’m fit and strong for my age and always been very active. I’d like to think I’m exactly the kind of reliable and responsible person any home owner (and pet lover) would want to have looking after their place. I’m a proud home owner myself (in northern NSW) and know you want your place to be looked after with the same high standards I apply to my home. I should add I very much enjoy the company of pets (big and small) and to my delight they seem to reciprocate and love me too.

I have many varied and creative hobbies from woodworking to the arts and sport. . I enjoy a good book and pod cast but also getting out in the fresh air for the odd round of golf and tending my garden. I am also a dab hand in the kitchen but that probably stems from my love of eating and food!

There’s so much more I could probably say and I don’t expect you to take what I say on face value. I’d love to talk with you, or even better meet beforehand so you can get a sense of who I am and be confident your place would be in good hands.
