I am a very responsible multilingual university-educated (with a Master degree in History) professional who has been housesitting since 2015. I recently relocated to Melbourne so am particularly interested in any housesitting opportunities in the area.
Besides house and pet sitting my other great passion is volunteering. Where possible I combine this with my house sitting assignments which has provided me with some brilliant experiences and given me a great glimpse into local communities and events. Some of the volunteer roles which have been particularly memorable have been two placements at the Venice Architecture Biennale, helping at a charity Halloween haunted house in Portland, a very early morning shift at the Chicago Marathon, and many small museums, charity events and local organisations who needed a hard working pair of hands.

Victoria stayed at my apartment and took care of my cat Niko for a month while I was overseas. This was my first time using a sitter and I was a little nervous as Niko had always been uncomfortable with strangers and stressed previously when I had left him at families places. This is the second time Victoria has looked after our three cats - and once again they took to her straight away. The house was spotless and the garden and pool tidy and well cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend Victoria.

Victoria looked after our three cats and house for two weeks. Victoria came around before the sit to meet us and the cats which made it a comfortable process. Victoria was a hit with the cats - the ‘scaredy Cat’ of the trio was sitting on her lap within hours of us leaving!! It was great knowing they were happy and allowed us to have a stress free holiday. Victoria was a lovely Housesitter. She looked after our house and our cat with care. She was a great communicator in the lead up to and throughout the sit. We felt so glad our rescue cat could stay in the house and not have to go to a cattery (which would have made our cat very anxious) while we were away. Victoria proved a reliable house-sitter for us during our 6 weeks' away.
Our cat was happy and healthy when we returned, and the house was tidy and in the same condition as when we left.
We live in an apartment building and there were no issues or concerns raised by neighbours or the building manager
