Hi, I’m Shane, a 53 year old Kiwi recently returned home after living in the UK for over 20 years.

I’ve been pet sitting through the Kiwi House Sitters website and would love the opportunity to expand my pet sitting horizons and pet sit in Australia. I can provide references from previous house sits and a current police check.

I love animals and, once settled, hope at some point to have my own. In the meantime, I would very much appreciate the opportunity to take care of your furry friends.

I’m still working for my employer in the UK so will be working from home most of the time to look after your property and keep your pets company. I’m also happy to water plants, mow lawns or do anything else that’s needed.

I’m non-smoking, easy-going, clean and tidy. I like to keep fit and active – playing tennis and swimming weekly together with long walks.

I’m respectful of other people, their pets and their property. I will look after your home as if it is my own. I own two rental properties so know the importance of having trusting people in your home.

I have previously house and pet sat for friends in the UK and really enjoyed the experience. I love animals and grew up with cats and dogs. I recently spent a year house and cat sitting for a friend in London while they spent most of their time living in Cornwall.
