We are house proud, mature, trustworthy and non smokers.
Last year we retired, leased our home for one year and travelled in Europe. We loved the adventure and freedom so much that we have re-leased our home so that we can travel in Australia, visit family and friends and discover different places and neighbourhoods.
We have often house-sat and pet-sat for friends in their homes or ours, including fish, rabbits , guinea pigs, cats and dogs. We have also been privileged to have owned a number of dogs, the last was a cocker spaniel who crossed the Rainbow Bridge two years ago at a ripe old age ;-( Our dogs have always been considered part of our family: well cared for, groomed, walked and exercised (come hail, rain or shine), spoilt and trained (somewhat). We have both been members of a Dog Obedience Club participating and volunteering in obedience trialling and agility training; as well as entered some dog shows giving us experience with dog handling and exposure to many different dog types and temperaments.
As pet and home owners ourselves, we understand that it can be daunting having strangers staying in your home; we assure you that they will be well looked after with all the care and respect they deserve; you can go away knowing that your pets and home are in good hands. We are comfortable to give medication, if required, and will follow your directions and routines and keep you informed.
Note: as public servant we have held security and criminal clearances
