I am a non-smoker. I am reliable and easy going , fit and young at heart. I have had lots of experience with many animals, domestic and farm over the years, I have been caretaker for motels, farms, small homes and mansions.
Full experience with the maintenance of swimming pools. I am currently settled just outside of Rockhampton, so currently able to do sits within in and around the area.

Jo looked our our 3 fur babies and 6 goldfish while we were away for 2 weeks. I have no doubt she did an amazing job, and the house was left sparkling keen. We briefly me Jo before the house sit and she is a lovely friendly lady. She sent us some pictures of the animals while we were away and kept us informed that everything was going well.
I have no hesitation in recommending Jo as a reliable and trustworthy sitter.

Jo and Gary were fantastic house sitters. As soon as we met them, we were totally comfortable and confident to leave our house and our beloved elderly dog in their care. They kept us up to date, including a lovely photo of our dog Maisy, strolling on the beach. On our return, the house was spotless - I dare say even cleaner than when we left it. We would not hesitate to have Jo and Gary house sit for us again.

We were so happy to have Joanne and Gary to look after our 2 large Golden Retriever dogs (one very old and frail) and cat, whilst we flew across to Perth.
At our request, they came the day before we left, so we could show them the routine with feeding and where we went for walks etc.
They are both so friendly and easy going. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they made contact several times to assure us all was well.

Joanne and Gary looked after our home and pet dog for 5 weeks from late February through to early April 2018. My husband and I are so grateful to them for doing such a great job of looking after our home and pup. Not only did they have to deal with unforeseen maintainence issues with the pool and hot water system but experienced the hottest most humid weather for March on record and to top it off were here when Cyclone Marcus hit Darwin! Joanne and Gary were the ideal house sitters. We met about a month before the sitting period and I instantly trusted them. They are genuine, kind people.
They visited our home before we left and met our large dog and he loved them. Even the way they were with my very young son showed they are caring people.

Jo and Gary looked after our 5 acres in Katherine, Northern Territory, for about 6 weeks in Oct/Nov. Anyone who knows anything about the Territory will tell you, the NT is NOT the place to be that time of year. It was HOT, HOT, HOT! They had to look after a horse, dog, cat and a heap of chickens and ducks, as well as maintain a pool and a spa AND keep our plants alive, which is no easy feat that time of year. This was our first experience with Aussie House Sitters and we were extremely happy with all the arrangements. Jo and Gary are a very warm and friendly couple who made the experience stress free and enjoyable. They cared beautifully for our dogs and we returned to an immaculately clean house and a home cooked meal, splendid treats after a long flight. Jo and Gary looked after our home in South West Rocks as well as our puppy and cat for two weeks in May.
I found them to be very personable and enthusiastic about house-sitting. We spent a little time with them the day beforehand and left for our holiday feeling relaxed and confident that everything would be taken care of.

Jo and Gary looked after our home, two fussy cats and garden for a few weeks in March/April 2017. Nothing fazed them (not even the cats) and they left the house beautifully clean. Everything happened on time and as it should, and we recommend them highly.
