I'm Kat, originally from Germany but a permanent resident of Australia. 🇩🇪 🇦🇺
I have lived and worked in Sydney and the Sunshine Coast for many years, then I spent some time in Germany and travelled the world for multiple years. Earlier this year I made the big move back to Australia to settle for good.
While I am in the process of figuring out my next steps and find the right place to live, I love using this transitional phase in my life to look after your home & pets.
Having travelled a lot the last years, I always missed having pets of my own. I am a BIG animal lover and particularly adore cats (they are somehow drawn to me and show up wherever I go!) 😻
I'm an experienced house-sitter and I have also volunteered at animal sanctuaries during my many travels - one of them was a cat shelter in Malaysia, where I cared for sick and old animals (I am confident to give medication).
I am a reliable, quiet, tidy and respectful woman and don't drink or smoke. I have been vegan for 10+ years and enjoy leading a healthy lifestyle, but don't mind at all staying in a non-vegan household and of course I am totally ok with feeding the animals meat.
Bonus: as I am currently self-employed and work 100% online, I am home a lot to keep your furry friends company!

Katrin is the most amazing house and pet sitter I could possibly have dreamt of! She took excellent care of our house and garden, she sent updates and stayed in touch for our whole time away and she took such good care of my beloved cat that I don't think he missed me at all, which was a huge relief for me! Katrin is absolutely outstanding and I highly recommend her!!
Katrin was a great house sitter and carer for our cats. She was very thorough in getting to know them and investigate everything needed for looking after our home and cats. We came home to a very tidy house and two very happy cats. We would definitely invite her again and would recommend her for future housesits for anyone else.
Kat did a wonderful job looking after our 2 dogs and home. She provided regular pictures and messages, our dogs were content. We hope to use Kat for future sits.
Katrin was a natural fit for our house and lovely cat. She made time to meet with us before we departed and kept in touch with photos of our cat throughout our holiday. Katrin had fantastic communication and was very patient with our cat who can be naughty at times (especially with new people)
She took the time to get to know him well, with all his quirky traits and they became good mates.

Katrin and Anthony were amazing housesitters. Not only did they leave our home immaculate but they also who coped incredibly well with our little Missy who became quite seriously ill after we had left to go on our holiday. Together with our daughter they did visits and medication while at the same time keeping in touch with me. We are so grateful and would recommend them highly to any prospective Housesits.
10/10 for Katrin & Anthony. They are the most beautiful humans and they looked after my home and kitties so beautifully. Communication was always a breeze, Katrin sent lots of photos and updates and I could tell they both really cared about the girls. The home was left sparkling clean and I returned to some very happy and spoilt kitties. Couldn't have asked for more amazing house sitters, thank you so much :)
Katrin and Anthony were wonderful house sitters. Our home was absolutely immaculate and they took extra special care of our geriatric dog. Great communication with lots of updates on our pets while we were away. We would highly recommend them and would happily have them care for our home and pets again!!
Regular communication from Katrin and Anthony was hugely appreciated, because of course the house sit was all about my little furry friend being loved and looked after while I was away. House was also clean and tidy when I returned which was a bonus. Would definitely recommend.
Katrin was so easy to communicate with & I felt so comfortable with leaving my precious little girl and home in her good care. She contacted me when necessary and only had my wee girl's best interest at heart, always responded straight away if I was wanting an update. I came home to a very clean & tidy home & happy & well cared for dog (princess). I would highly recommend Katrin & Anthony for any house sit, your home & precious pets would be in good & loving hands
Katrin was so lovely with the pets and took her time to understand all their personalities - which showed as the pets all took to her very quickly. She was great with communication and sent photos of the animals to keep me updated. The house was left tidy and clean as well. I would definitely recommend Katrin to anyone considering her as a house/pet sitter.
Katrin was an exceptional pet sitter for my two cats. She accepted their little personality quirks and worked to ensure they were taken care of just how they were used to. Firley and Henry warmed to her immediately. The house, plants and garden were kept in a very clean and well maintained state and I was kept up to date while I was away with cute pics. Katrin is a very caring and honest person and I wouldn't hesitate to have her back in the future.
Katrin was a great sitter! I came home to a clean & today home, washed & dried sheets/towels & one happy & relaxed cat. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Katrin.
