Hello, we are Laura and Dennis, a couple from Germany. We are currently on our work & travel year in Australia, having both successfully completed our studies and worked in our professions for several years. We have already house-sat for five different families in Perth and have looked after a variety of pets from goldfish to cats, small dogs and large dogs.
Our love of animals ranges from hamsters to Hungarian steppe cattle, and we've both had varied experiences with different pets. Laura grew up with Norwegian Forest Cats and especially cherished her tomcat, Charly. Dennis, on the other hand, grew up on a small farm surrounded by chickens, geese, ducks, rabbits, cats and dogs. He's good with both small and large dogs, including rescued street and police dogs.
We both have green thumbs and enjoy caring for houseplants and gardening. We're looking forward to the adventures and opportunities that await us during our Work & Travel year in Australia.
Please note: We are currently to Adelaide. Would love to do a Housesit over Christmas in South Australia
What a charming couple. They took exceptional care of our pets which was very evident when we came home as they both showed us how attached they had become to each other. Would love to have them house sit again.

Dennis and Laura did an amazing job of looking after our dog and cat whilst we were away on holidays. It was obvious upon our return they developed a bond between them and enjoyed their company, by talking fondly about their personalities and antics. We received photos and communication on how they were doing and the house was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this friendly couple!

We usually put our pups in kennels but felt so comfortable with Dennis & Laura when we met them that it was a no brainer.
Communication was clear & simple and they were a breeze to deal with.
Would definitely recommend them again and love to have them sit for us.
