Hi there,
We are an experienced local house and pet sitter couple with 5 years of house and pet sitting experience.
Amina has dog handling experience as she was working as a dog walker in NZ, she holds a certificate in Canine Remedial Massage Therapy. She used to do horse riding. And volunteered for a dog shelter in Spain.
We both grew up with pets: cats, dogs, guinea pigs, mice and rats as well. We fostered for the SPCA in NZ.
Amina works from home in the education sector, and Nick works as a steel fabricator. Because both of our jobs are flexible, we can spend heaps of time with your pets.
We have a fab renting history and would respectfully take care of your house, plants and make sure your pets are happy.
We have had wonderful experiences with all the house sits we've done and looking forward to also take care of your pets and house.
We always send through photos from your happy pets so you have peace of mind they're well taken care off.

Amina and Nick were amazing. Communication was brilliant. We loved all the photos of the animals while we were away. And the house was looked after beautifully too. I would have no hesitation using them again or recommending them to others.
Amina & Nick won over the very temperamental and aloof Joshie Blue feline. Constant communication and photos of the happy boy were very much appreciated. Amina & Nick accepted the house sit last minute due too a cancellation we experienced, and for that we were so very grateful. Thank you both for taking such good care of Joshie Blue. Amina and Nick were great. We loved the daily updates and photos. Murray was indulged with plenty of ball games and was very happy. They took time to water the garden and enquired if things didn’t seem right. The house was sparkling on our return. They are an interesting and friendly couple who we’d be very happy to have again.
Amina and Nick were truly fantastic. Our usually nervous dog was calm and happy from the moment he met Amina, and she instantly came across as confident, kind and thoughtful. They kept us updated with pictures of our dog and were transparent throughout their communication. We came back to a spotless home and a very happy dog. We would love to have them stay again next time we’re away and can’t recommend highly enough!

Amina and Nick did a fabulous job looking after our house and pets. The house was just as we left it (other than our plants, weeds and lawn having some growth), the animals were happy in their skins, fitting with all the photos we'd been sent, and we were able to have one less thing to worry about on our holiday knowing everything was under control back home. They even stayed back until our late flight landed and made sure the sheets were changed for us and ready for us to collapse into. ... MORE

This was the first time we used a house sitter and we’re pleasantly surprised. Amina visited us before we left to find out what to while we’re away. She looked after our 2 dogs fantastically, giving our 1 dog medication daily. She also took them on regular walks and sent me pics.
The house was in perfect order when we returned. I highly recommend them
Amina and Nick took care of our 3 fur babies for an entire month whilst we were overseas.
I was nervous to use house sitters as it was my first time, but Amina made me feel very comfortable with all of the photos and videos of our pets, and little stories on how they were going.
I came home to find the house spotless and they even changed the bed sheets for us.

Amina and Nick looked after my big girl Lady for just over four weeks. Amina sent through lots of updates, photos, and videos throughout my time away, and I felt completely confident that Lady was happy and taken care of the entire time.
The house was spotless upon my return and everything in good order. Amina watered my plants and kept them in good condition too.
I would absolutely use Amina and Nick again, and I know Lady would love to see them again in the future too!
Amina and Nick cared for our two precious cavs, rabbit and home as if it was their own. Communication was frequent and reassuring, especially given our pets are seniors and one needs twice daily meds.
We returned to a home that was cleaner and tidier than the one we left and two very relaxed dogs.
We've already booked Amina and Nick for another sit in July/August and it almost feels like they are part of our family now!

Amina and Nick spent just over 3 weeks looking after our elderly furbaby buddy.

I was so impressed with the attention to detail that Amina applies in being the ideal pet sitter.
Not only was she very easygoing about the circumstances and requirements; she further sent numerous pictures and updates/compliments about the cats and how lovable they were...
All of these details - not to mention the impeccable house that I was so blessed to return home to - made me feel at ease, knowing that I had entrusted my fur babies to a standout couple of caring and clean cat sitters!

I cannot rate Amani and Nick high enough. They were fantastic in looking after the house and the garden but they really shone in looking after Charlie. Charlie is an 8 year old Lab cross who gets two walks a day at the park. From the photo's sent to me almost daily Chartlie was in their car being driven to the park for her two walks. Amina was such a trustworthy, warm and friendly house/dog sitter! I appreciated her updates while I was away so much, Keiko and Soxi can sometimes take some time to warm up to other people but it was clear from the get go that they loved hanging out with Amina and were super comfortable and happy. Amina and her partner looked after our 2 dogs, cat (and fish) while we were away for the week. We returned to a spotless house and three very happy animals. They are a lovely, friendly couple, great communication and our animals were at ease from the moment they walked in the door. Would highly recommend and happily have them back again :)

Amina came to my rescue when our house sitter had to cancel on us at short notice. We have two aging greyhounds and three cats, so it was important to me that we find someone who would be able to care for them. Amina was great and our female greyhound clearly loved her. She kept in touch while we were away as well. I would definitely use her again if she were back in our part of the world.

Amine was joined by her friend Rachel in looking after my property along with Stu the cat and the gold fish. both girls were absolutely delightful and in fact have asked them back in summer to teach them to surf. The house was left tidy. Th girls have s sense of humour which was nice and very easy to get on with. Have no hesitation in recommending them both.
