Hello and thank you for reading my housesitting profile.
My name is Mark, I am 47 years of age, and I come from England. I have lived in Australia for the past 9 years and am an Australian citizen.
I work in mental health in my own private practice, and have spent the past 4 years on the NSW South Coast helping with the bushfire recovery efforts here. However, I finished my practice last December to travel around Australia. I love to travel and have been to over 70 countries around the world. I have also lived and worked in Auckland, NZ.
I have recently started housesitting and love it. I love meeting new animals and looking after them, as well as taking care of properties whilst people are away. Housesitting will also give me a great opportunity to see more of this great country.
I am a single person, so it would just be me looking after your property. I love all animals, but probably wouldn't feel comfortable looking after farm animals since I dont have any experience of this (although I would be wiling to learn).
You can be sure that your house and pets would be in good hands with me, and well looked after.
Mark was not just a great house sitter but an amazing dog sitter. He has a genuine love for animals and our dog Sam loved his companionship. Our house was extremely clean when we returned - even the fridge and microwave had been immaculately cleaned.
I would highly recommend Mark for any house sit!!!
Mark was fantastic. Mark and I didn’t cross paths but prior and after conversations were fantastic. Buddy was well looked after and the chickens were just as well cared for. I would definitely use Mark again in a house sit without any hesitations. The house was left Immaculate and ready for myself to come home with no stresses or cleaning to do.
We would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for a house/pet sitter. Mark looked after our house and 2 dogs ( one of which is blind) with great care for 5 weeks. our 2 dogs took to him instantly as did he to them. He kept us up to date with photos and funny stories of their latest exploits which totally put us at ease while we were away. He is a really nice person who looked after our home with care and respect.
Our dog Milo just loved him and was really well cared for and loved.
Mark is an excellent communicator and is a pleasure to deal with.

Mark was a great house sitter. He looked after both of our kitties really well and sent daily updates on their shenanigans. The cats were happy on our return and had clearly been looked after well. The house was clean and tidy, gifted us some chocolates and he even left us some milk for coffee the next day. Would highly recommend!
The idea of having a house sitter was so alien to us, instantly felt comfortable with Mark Housesitting and pet sitting for us.
We were away overseas for almost 4 weeks and Mark kept our house in immaculate condition, better than we do! And loved our pets as much as we do. Mark even had his own nicknames for them!
