Rhys & Hannah are based in London, UK. We both adore animals and ultimately want to find somewhere we can raise a family of fur babies. Maybe your neighbourhood will be the right fit for us!
Rhys is a Canadian transplant and always wants to live somewhere new; Hannah has a tendency to run herself ragged balancing work with travel and the comforts of pets (and family!) in Greater Manchester.
Rhys and Hannah been around animals all their lives. Hannah and her family seem to have been the home to target for any strays seeking room and board. Hannah's childhood was spent with her best friend Jessie, a Rottweiler who was a total cuddle fiend.
Rhys raised a Golden Retriever, Henry, from puppyhood to seniority. His family took in a Lop Eared Rabbit named Shakespeare when their neighbours moved to a farm. He also adopted an adult Maine Coon with diabetes from a friend who couldn't care for him. Miró lived a couple more years to the healthy age of 11.
Although Rhys has moved around a lot since university, he has often cared for friends' and relatives' dogs and cats while they've been away for business or holiday - including an overweight cat with attachment issues, a Beagle puppy, a senior English Sheepdog, and an extremely active Vizsla.
Rhys cared for a neighbour's cat, named Tsitso (apparently Hungarian for "kitty") about a dozen times over 18 months.
Hannah is a magazine editor (in the travel industry, no less) so she largely works remotely as a freelancer. She's a true animal lover - we've made many trips to cat cafés and deer reserves on the weekends.
As Hannah works remotely and Rhys works some nights and some days, between the two of us, you can be sure someone will always be there to care for your life and loved ones as if they're our own.
As of 2025, we will be moving to Australia for Hannah's work. We are not yet sure whether this move will be permanent or temporary. A friend suggested house sitting as a way to accomplish two objectives at once - we can keep our accommodations flexible, and if we're lucky enough to be able to stay, we'll have a good idea of what neighbourhoods to look to live in. Please let us know if you have any questions!
