  • I grew up on farms around the Byron Shire and Grafton. I have had experience with a lot of livestock on a basic level. We have also had chickens and ducks and we absolutely love the farm life.

I, Sammy grew up and lived in the stunning Byron Shire and my fiance; Marjolein is from the wonderfully beautiful Netherlands. We are a new family of 3. We recently had our beautiful daughter, Oceaan in May 2022 and is such a delight. We also have a very happy and well trained miniature poodle called Milli who's 7 years old. She can come with us but can always stay at my parents as well; whatever suits you. We have had quite a lot of experience house and pet sitting for friends and family which we have absolutely loved and enjoyed. We were then given this site as a recommendation and we thought it sounded just perfect for us. We have experience with all kinds of pets and livestock from sheep, goats, chickens and horses to cats and dogs, fish and even a pet carpet python.

Sammy & Marjolein were amazing house sitters. They took very good care of our house and really looked after our fur baby. They brought their own dog along for the house sit (Milli) who became a great buddy for our spoodle, Mocha. I actually think Mocha really missed Milli after we arrived home. We loved having Sammy, Marjolijn and Oceaan looking after our home and puppy Tommy! I was told, Oceaan (Sammy and Marjolijn’s almost 2 year old daughter) and Tommy were a match made in heaven. :) They looked after the house as if it was their own and when we got back the house was clean, tidy, and all the beds were clean and made. We would be very happy to have them looking after our place and Tommy again!
