Hi!

My name is Sandie, I am 22-year-old student who has moved to Melbourne this year. I have been part of the Aussie House Sitters community for around half a year now and have loved looking after people’s pets and homes.

I am currently working part-time in Parkville. I’m also a university student studying engineering (although I have taken this semester off to allow me time to get settled.)

I love animals and feel very comfortable around cats and dogs. I had a childhood dream of being a vet and completed a year of an Animal Health degree (before regretfully switching). so would love to be able to hang out with them and take care of them whilst you are away.

I am not the most experienced gardener, but I can do basic yard tasks and keep pot plants alive. I am also a non-smoker.

The most important criterion for my sitter was looking after my dog, who suffers from anxiety. Sandie looked after her really well and kept me in touch with how she was going with photo and video. This was really important to me as it was a long sit (7 1/2 weeks) The house was left clean and tidy. I’d give 5 stars except that things were stored in different places and that took a bit of sorting out. Nothing major. Sandie never claimed to be a gardener so that was not a major factor ... MORE

Sandie was amazing! She was timely and communicative throughout the process, sent regular updates and left the house nicer than it was!! Really appreciate her staying and can highly recommend.
