I am a visual artist and textile designer, living and working in Melbourne,. I am house and pet sitting (and staying with family) whilst I'm waiting for my next home (a Nightingale apartment) to be built.

I have experience looking after a range of animals and plants. I particularly like caring for cats. I am respectful of other people's homes and privacy treat them with care. I am conscientious about following instructions for pet care and do my very best to make sure that pets are happy and comfortable with having a new person in their home.

I am quiet, calm, clean and tidy, love animals, reading, sewing, drawing, walking and can slip into each routine of the creatures I care for with ease. I enjoy gardening and, in the past, have set up a community garden in Melbourne.

I am in my 60s, fit and strong, non-smoker, mostly eat a plant-based, whole food diet (I'm ok dealing with meat for pets). I like to walk every day and sometimes swim laps.

I am self-employed so can work (writing and drawing) from home if caring for animals that need plenty of company. I also have a studio space in Melbourne CBD where I occasionally make paintings.
