Hi, and thanks for clicking on me :-). I'm Sarah, a probationary Public Servant with the APS, "mature"-aged uni student, originally from Bathurst NSW and now based in Canberra ACT. I am a later-in-life career changer, teaching for 17 years. I am now studying via distance ed. My "child" was a 17.5-year-old toy poodle named Rodger. We had many house-sitting adventures together until I had to let my little flooffer sidekick go over Rainbow Bridge (21/06/2023) last year. But, the housesitting gigs must go on. Having done several long and short-term housesits, I am a pet-loving and responsible person who can be trusted to take the utmost care of your home, property and beloved pets. I generally will use your home (with the owners' approval) instead of payment OR at a minimal rate. However, this can be negotiated, if residing in your home is inappropriate. I have a full range of experience in lawns/pools/garden maintenance, pet care (not just dogs!), walking, and home care. I can provide Police Checks a Working With Children Check, and personal references on request.
I look forward to caring for your home and precious non-human family members.

Sarah was phenomenal, and I cannot recommend her enough. We initially agreed for a week's sit, but very close to the date we were called away for a family emergency. Sarah was gracious enough to help us by staying longer, and we very much appreciate it. Great communication with us while we were away, and is very trustworthy. She was fantastic with my dogs, and we (dogs included) would love to have her here again in the future.

Sarah was great with our 2 dogs and bonded very well with them. House, garden and pool very well cared for. House was very clean too. Communication while we were away was excellent. We were so happy with Sarah we have booked her for another sit later in the year, so we do recommend Sarah for house sitting.

I can’t say enough nice things about Sarah, she took amazing care of our two dogs, they had the best staycation with Sarah and are probably disappointed to have us home. She took excellent care of our home and communicated so easily. This was our first time having a house sitter and I fear we have been spoilt with Sarah’s very high quality. Thanks very much x
