Hello, Libby (Elizabeth) & Ian here, we are cat addicts and dog lovers and look forward to helping you out with your furry friends very soon.

We are active, non-smoking, retirees. In addition to looking after your pets we would also be happy to help out watering indoor and outdoor plants and generally keeping your house and garden clean and tidy.

On the cat front we have lots of experience. Our rescue cat allowed us to live with him for 21 years, so we know all about their '9 lives', from boisterous, curtain-climbing kitten through to elderly cat requiring peace, quiet and daily medication.

We both grew up with pets in the house, (dogs, cats, birds, rabbits) and we would love to have pets of our own again in the future, but in the meantime we get our 'pet fix' by volunteering to look after our friends' pets when they go on holiday and completing sits through Aussie House Sitters and Trusted Housesitters.

As you will see from our reviews your pets will be well looked after. (Dogs - walked & fed twice a day and given lots of love & affection. Cats - brushed, stroked & told they are amazing on an hourly basis). We pride ourselves on you returning home to find happy (slightly spoilt) pets and a clean and tidy house.

When we are pet sitting, we do like to explore the local area during the day (long walks, longer coffees), but in the evenings we are happy to stay at home and keep the pets company.

I highly recommend Libby and Ian for a house/pet sit. We came home to happy well cared for pets and a beautiful clean house. Communication was excellent and prompt, and they arrived exactly at the time asked. On meeting them both, they were both friendly and Dexter(our dog) immediately liked them. Even the cats came out of hiding! They listened to my handover carefully and followed all instructions. Would certainly have them sit again.

Thanks to Libby & Iain for leaving our home clean and well-cared for, and pets happy on our return. Our cats are rescues, and therefore shy/cautious with new people. Libby was persistent in gentle efforts to get the cats to open-up, and communicated regularly with us. The house was tidy with extra cleaning on our return. Thanks again!

Libby was great house and pet sitter. We had a very positive experience from the beginning of our communication. Im glad that she enjoyed our cats and took as much interest in their personalities as I do and felt that very reassuring. W have just had a fantastic long weekend away for our daughters wedding and cannot thank Libby and Ian enough for their care of our home and dog (JJ) whilst we were away. With so much on our minds with the wedding, Libby and Ian made everything so simple and communication was excellent before, during and after the stay. We were delighted to have Libby and Ian look after Mr K on our recent trip to Sydney. Communication with them was very responsive and our house was left totally clean and tidy - they even remade our bed for us which was so thoughtful after a long drive home.. Kobe's soccer prowess was particularly appreciated by Ian so we know they had fun together, despite the rain. We sincerely hope Libby and Ian will be able to sit for us again very soon!

Libby was great to deal with, easy communication, willingness to meet prior to confirming sit and ultimately made sure Willow was very looked after. The apartment was immaculate when we arrived home and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend and we will definitely look to have Libby sit for Willow again.

Excellent communication before and after the sit (We had no signal on holidays so there was no communication during the sit). I felt 100% confident that my dog and my house were well looked after, and the house was in better condition when I returned than when I left it.
