Hi Home Owners & Pet Parents,

** Currently looking after Ace in Meadow Springs until early Dec 2024, looking to secure a pet/home sit for Christmas/New Year break.

I'm a single 48 year old semi retired professional. I've been a property owner and landlord for over 20 years and at one stage had 7 Air'BnB properties so I'm very familiar and respectful of owners concerns when it comes to other people staying in your home.

I separated a few years ago and sold up my properties and looking forward to travelling throughout WA with my 4WD & Camper Trailer in 2024/2025.

When in Perth my camper is stored on a property and I will just need parking for my car. My family is located in Perth so I will be visiting often but also heading North and to our South West and love camping on a beach or in the bush,

I'm fortunate enough to be able to work remotely which allows me to travel and see our beautiful state and when house/pet sitting I will largely be home except for short trips out to see some local attractions/sites (or visit family in Perth).

I'm a non-smoker and have no pet allergies and I live a healthy lifestyle. I love walks/jogs around parks (or beaches) and I've been an avid animal lover my whole life and have had many pets from fish to cats & dogs over the years.

My last pets were 2 x Bichon Frise X Silky Terriers who were brothers that I had for 17/18 years but lost recently (they died a year apart) but they had a long, happy, love filled life. I also lost a rescue cat (Ragdoll) a few years ago who was with me for 8 years and he ruled the roost when all three were together.

The cat before him lived to 21 years and the vets have always been amazed at the age/health of our pets which I believe is a sign of love & care. I've also had many fish in my years and was breeding at one stage - anything from Koi to Tropical fresh water fish. I haven't had marine fish but know a lot about keeping them.

I'm familiar with a large number of farm animals (sheep, chickens, horses etc) and reptiles/birds. My (ex) mother in law is a snake handler and has a number of snakes, lizards and other animals on their acreage property in Chidlow and I plan to eventually settle on an acreage property myself once my travels are done as I love the bush/nature and space to have have animals of my own and the independence and tranquility that rural living offers.

I'm passionate about sustainability, living off grid and a healthy/green conscious lifestyle and I have a lot of experience with off grid - (solar/batteries/rain water harvesting etc).

Since recently becoming a nomadic traveller I've missed not having pets and gardens of my own and I look forward to connecting with your pets while you're away.

I'm familiar with many special needs (and medications) especially for elderly pets who unfortunately develop health and mobility issues in their later years.

I have a green thumb and have been a passionate recycler, composter and organic grower. I've had worm farms and love an orchard or veggie garden and I'm more than capable to care for any garden needs.

While you're away I will be contactable any time and will provide regular updates by Mobile/SMS/WhatsApp or any other preferred contact method.

I also have a 2024 police clearance with absolutely no adverse history and my ex (mother of our son) works with WA Police and can be a reference if required.

Given the time/opportunity (and especially for longer stays) I'd prefer to meet the owners/pets prior to put everyones minds at ease and discuss any specific needs and answer any questions.
