Hi there, my husband Carl and I have spent the last few years travelling around our beautiful country. We are nomads who love spending our time between our caravan and house and/or farm sitting.
We both love all animals and would keep your pets and animals routine while you are away. Carl is especially good with larger dogs and was a trainer and breeder of German Shepherds a few years ago.
I on the other hand love any size animals and would give your fur babies the extra attention and love to help them settle and not fret while you are away enjoying your holiday.
We believe between us we make a really balanced team to professionally look after your pets and/or farm animals. In fact, over the past 3 years of our house/farm sitting adventures, we have been fortunate enough to be entrusted to look and care for many different types of animals, including (but limited to) dogs, cats, horses, alpacas, sheep, cows, chickens, geese, ducks and fish. It would be our pleasure to look after yours.
My husband often says the only thing he misses while on the road was our garden and veggie patch and pottering/being outside when we are house sitting/farm sitting. We will ensure your trees, plants and fruit/veg gardens are looked after.
He is a very handy and is a bit of a jack of all trades. He will have a go at most tasks (other than anything electrical) and will be able to fix most problems. Little odd jobs will not be a problem. Having always owned a home, we take pride in keeping our living environment neat and tidy.
We feel privileged when given a farm or house to look after as we understand how important it is for home owners to be given the assurance their homes and pets are well taken care of while they are not there.
We will look after your home and pets as if they were ours and to the standards you have, so you can peacefully enjoy your time away.

Amanda and Carl were great housesitters. Great with communication and super accomodating. Our animals were very happy when we arrived home and definitely missed their new friends. The house was kept in great condition. Would be welcome back anytime.

Amanda and Carl were very lovely. They made the time to come meet us and our pets the day before our trip which put our minds at ease as we are very new to house sitting. We were updated regularly about our fur babies which gave us piece of mind while we were away. Our house was left immaculate and Carl even cleaned our pool which was a lovely surprise. Would highly recommend Amanda and Carl.

Amanda and Carl were perfect housesitters. They communicated very well, took very good of our cats, , looked after our house beautifully and Carl did some much needed and appreciated odd jobs. Their housesit had its challenges as they experienced a severe storm during their stay with a 24 hour power cut but they handled it really well. We would love them to housesit again. They were great!!!

Amanda & Carl were wonderful pet/house sitters. We got to meet up prior to the sit and clicked instantly. Both of them were warm genuine people. Our two boys were very comfortable with them. Our house was lovely and clean when we got home and the boys were very happy and content. Amanda is very good at communication and kept in contact as much as was possible do to our location. Definitely hope we can get them back for future sits.

Amanda and Carl were amazing, they looked after our house, 2 dogs and garden for 3 weeks while we were away. They were extremely easy to communicate with and did an amazing job taking care of our place. We can not thank them enough for their efforts. Highly recommend. Thanks Amanda and Carl.

Amanda and Carl were wonderful sitters. They looked after our ageing dog so well I don't even think she realised we had gone away. They were so respectful of our home that we wouldn't have known they were there. When we we returned our home was exactly how we left it! We were lucky enough to meet Amanda and Carl a couple of times before we left and they are a very easy to get along with couple.

Carl and Amanda were PERFECT House and pet sitters!! They went above and beyond and treated our Cats like their own . I had zero worries about things back at home while we were away and was free to enjoy the holiday. When we got home everything was perfect and my shower was sparkling and cleaner than when I'd left due to a handy cleaning hack Amanda very kindly used. Oh my god I loved these guys. From the very start of communication, they made me feel comfortable with leaving my beloved fur babies in their care. Then they arrived and what beautiful, funny and warm people. I could have kept them. I got home after 10 days away to a spotless home, and happy dogs and cats. Thanks Carl and Amanda......hope we catch up again one day :)

We were very happy with our farm sitters, Carl and Amanda who looked after our farm for six weeks. The house was spotless, the cats, cows, horses and all the chooks (of which there are many) were all fat and happy. They kept us updated and sent pictures of our animals regularly. We will definitely have them back to sit again and highly recommend them

No rating Carl and Amanda looked after our 40acre hobby farm for more than nine weeks though both winter and a serious drought. They cared for our chooks, pet sheepdog, 3 horses, 8 sheep and 2 alpacas, plus house and gardens, using their experience and initiative at a time of water shortage. Carl also successfully undertook numerous carpentery and farmyard tasks and we commend them as reliable and trustworthy farmsitters for anyone seeking such services .

No rating We had Amanda and Carl look after your property in April of this year we could not have been more pleased with the way they looked after everything we came home to happy and healthy animals especially our dogs. I couldn't recommend them highly enough and next time we travel they would be our choice of sitter.
