SingleI have limited experience in farming but have spent much time with my Son and his young family on the sheep/cattle/goat property where he works near Blackall. I have assisted in rounding up the stock in buggies, drafting and maintenance tasks.

I am a solo traveler with a happy disposition and positive outlook. I am a respectful, honest, clean living non-smoker, social drinker and an animal lover who likes to travel. When I retired from working in the mining industry on Groote Eylandt in 2018 I settled in Townsville and have been travelling for long periods since. Having friends who have been involved in house sitting for a long time got me interested in helping those who have to leave their homes for holidays or other reasons when required. I am quite happy to look after gardens, mow lawns, walk pets and any other chores required during the sit. Cheers. Peter.
Peter is a lovely and honest man who is an absolutely wonderful house & pet sitter. Great communication and respectful re our house and needs. Had nil issues with the wood fireplaces, a blackout and resetting the solar system!
We returned to a super clean house and a very relaxed and happy pug and 2 cats who were obviously well liked & cared for! I would highly recommend Peter and definitely would ask him back again!
Peter, a great communicator, arrived at our home before 11 am, as requested, (after a 2-3 hour drive) so we could get away on time. He kindly drove us to the nearest public transport. Listened carefully to our requests, particularly about our two golden retrievers who I spoil. While away, communicated with me regularly. Arrived home to two happy dogs, clean and tidy house and a delicious dinner that he prepared for us. Can highly recommend Peter as a house/pet sitter.
