I sit with/out pets for favourite & new owners & enjoy exchanging updates - refer to my bright gallery & reviews. I no longer have my own pets, so having your dear pet in my life makes my heart sing!
I have enjoyed sits with: rescues & pedigrees, baby/young pets, senior pets, pets on special diets, pets on medication, snobby cats, sweet cats, dogs, single fish, fish ponds, marine tanks, parrots, budgies, cockatiels, chookies & alpacas. Oh & an uninvited snake, yikes!
Iām adaptable, resourceful & experienced with using appliances, security systems, & troubleshooting with online manuals & videos. For long sits, I can start your car to avoid a flat battery.
I prefer to connect with like-minded owners with a bright profile (photos are helpful) which includes upfront & honest disclosure of essential information including: pet issues (behavioural/medical/medication), cameras, flood risk, fire risk, tenant/s on your property etc.
Happy to meet & do a trial at your place to establish our routine & preferences so we're all safe & enjoy the sit with mutual respect. Being a local, I can visit you again prior to the sit, which helps the pets & people to be comfortable.

*A favourite senior Cavalier. We enjoy gentle & shady park & riverside walks to the high street cafes & watching soccer matches on the local oval. 2 sits.
*A favourite cat with the sweetest & softest voice at a riverside apartment. 3 sits.
*Owners using Mindahome for the 1st time: new home, lawns, gardens & pool - the highlight was 2 bouncy little Pom's!
*Parklands apartment with an array of precious plants & a senior cat. The highlight was sunshine walks via cat-in-a-backpack plus harness through the parklands (timed to avoid curious dogs & their surprised reaction with potential chase instinct). 1 sit.

Shelly is simply an amazing person. This was the first time I had a house & pet sitter and I couldn't have a better experience.
I loved Shelly's confidence, our conversations were fluid, she re-assured me all the long the process. Not only we clicked with Shelly but our dogs too which for 1 of them, strangers are not necessary his cup of tea. Both adores her.

Shelly was super helpful giving Baxter his ear drops throughout our time away.
The house was left tidy and communication was smooth.
Looking forward to using Shelly again in the future.
Very nice to return to a spotlessly clean apartment despite a week of incredibly bad weather.
On her previous sit Shelly did a good job of cleaning our difficult courtyard.
She didn't succeed in getting the fish to love her but they were well fed!
We have booked Shelly again for other sits this year and recommended her to a friend who needs a sitter.
