my home base is near Ulladulla NSW.
I am an experienced house sitter since March 2011 with very good references and police checks. My wife was with me housesitting during the first 7 years but she passed away 9th may 2018.
I am retired with a background in finance and welfare.
I believe in honesty and integrity and am a Christian ( I attend a Baptist or Presbyterian church mostly).

I know how important it is to be able to trust your pets and house to strangers, the same applies for me as I also have to trust the people I go to.
I believe that I can handle most situations well and with common sense.
I am of sober habits and like writing poetry, reading, religious studies and seeing new people and places.
I love all animals, especially dogs.
As at June 2022 I have cared for over 60 dogs and 15 cats and most farm animals happily.

I have a small bush property inland from Ulladulla NSW. I lost everything in the fires but have now rebuilt again.
With no animals of my own now, I are able to just get up and go.

I are not very keen on birds in cages and fish tanks, i believe that they should be free instead of caged in but i will look after them well if required.

I am a non-smoker who will only sit for non-smokers. The same applies to illegal drug use.
I are both healthy and active with healthy foods.
I prefer to do longer stays (6 weeks or more) especially if I have to travel any distance, but will look at shorter stays a few hours from home or where i am at. I also prefer wherever possible to meet the animals I am going to care for so they get used to my voice and smell.
I am Australian with some experience in bush and farm living. I love nature (bush or beach). I love walking, swimming.

I prefer to house sit for people that have a reasonable standard of organization and cleanliness.
I love dogs and cats.
I will always leave your house clean and organized.
i can maintain pools and gardens.

I do expect at least a comfortable bed and some space for clothes.

I also do not like the idea of getting paid or having to pay for utilities as I am saving you money on kennels and the amount I would use will never be that much.

Preferred Locations: for now I am only looking for sits near my local nsw south coast/ulladulla or longer sits in the NSW north coast or south east queensland.
My son moved to SE queensland in 1/21 so i plan to visit him and i would love to sit up there. i have now had many sits within one hour of the gold coast.
