Currently seeking house sits in the south of Western Australia from late February till to mid April.
Happily married couple of 54yrs who had lived in their home, on 5 acres in central Victoria for 34yrs during which time we had dogs, cats, hamsters, various birds, horses, cows, sheep, goats rabbits, pigs, chickens, ducks and geese. We also cared for various local properties and animals while the owners went away for short periods of time. We are both very house and garden proud and liked to maintain our home to a high standard.
In early 2018 we sold up our “Little Farm”,bought our first motorhome. And traveled around Australia for 2 years doing house sits along the way. We had no set plans of where or when we go, just taking each day as it comes. Since starting our traveling we have done house sits in Victoria, South Australia, Northern Territory, Western Australia, NSW and Queensland, and have looked after various breeds of dogs, both large and small, cats, chickens, sheep, cows, rabbits, alpacas and various birds. We have cared for small humble homes, up to $1,000,000 mansions. In isolated country areas as well as the suburbs.
We now have a smaller motorhome and bought a house in Bendigo central Victoria, to be closer to family for our older age. Just in time for the first lockdown due to the COVID 19 virus. We hope to continue doing house sits as the virus regulations permit, but this time staying closer to home. We had to cancel our planned trip to Tasmania due to the virus, but hope to get over there at a later date. (Update… managed to go to Tasmania ,February - March 2024 )
When we had the property, we use to have house sitters in while we went house sitting, and will have to do this again now that we have bought a house, so we have experienced both situations and know how important it is to have a good trustworthy house/pet sitter while you are away.
You can go away on your much deserved holiday knowing that your home, garden and animals will be well looked after by a no smoking, no drinking, experienced and caring couple who will care for your place to the high standards that they have in their own home.
We have current COVID vaccination certificates,Police check,I have working with children check ,first aid and CPR,certificate and am a work place trained fire warden and past girl guide leader. Keith is an ex Scout leader and an ex voluntary CFA and Apex member.

Edwina and Keith were perfect house sitters. The communication was excellent. We had confirmation/photos of our pets welfare every day. The cats took to them straight away, so we were comfortable that they were happy.
When we returned home, the plants had all been watered, the house was immaculate and all the linens had been washed and the bed remade. Couldn't ask for better house sitters. and would have them back anytime.
Edwina and Keith were lovely. Edwina and I had 2 good chats prior to the sit and on the day, they arrived early to get acquainted with the house and Tully. I found both Edwina and Keith to be very personable, friendly and relaxed, and they easily understood what was required for the sit. I felt very comfortable leaving our home in their capable hands for the weekend.
Edwina & Keith are amazing. They left my home in a great state and looked after my two dogs plus walked them. on the beach .I would recommend this lovely couple for any housesit
Edwina and Keith came through as a wonderful couple to care for my world. The animals loved them and the house was in better shape than before I left. I hope our paths cross again.

Edwina & Keith housesat for us for 10 days, they were great with communication and when our flight was cancelled it was no bother for them to stay on another night which was a great help.
Our doggies seemed happy and contented upon our return.

Edwina and Keith, were great to communicate with our plans and confirmation of sitting arrangements and dates. They came a few days earlier to set up and get a feel for the area and get to know the pets, particularly our dogs. They were very accommodating with all the feeding instructions. Edwina and Keith did a fantastic job looking after our house and animals. They were very friendly and easy going and our house looked immaculate when we came home. The 1st time we've used a house sitter, after meeting Edwina & Keith we left our property, chooks, rabbits & birds feeling at ease. We returned over 3 weeks later to a happy farmyard & sparkling home. A great experience with Aussie house sitters & recommend this capable couple to anyone.
Edwina and Kieth were simply wonderful housesitters. I came home to a lovely tidy home, and most importantly - my two dogs were gorgeously happy, healthy, and cheerful.

This was our first time having house/cat sitters, but we knew from the moment they arrived that everything was in safe hands. We came home to not only a clean house but a sparkling clean house, & Edwina had a meal prepared for us as well.
