I am thoroughly enjoying all the Home, Farm and Pet Minding I have done, and I cannot help but fall in love with all the pets. I grew up on a farm, and I have always had an amazing connection with animals, which I have had all of my life. I love their company. I am there to love and care for them while you are away.

I am trained in Complementary Medicine as a Kinesiologist.... and yes I have done healing on pets too. I am now semi-retired so I am free to travel and take care of your home and your pets. I have travelled extensively and I have now been HouseSitting full-time for some five years.

Many years ago I minded a house for friends who had a very pedantic and fussy cat, whilst their home was for sale. I had to keep the very clean and presentable for the agents to bring people through to view it. I really enjoyed taking care of their home and their rather scratchy, bitey cat! I look back on that experience with fond memories.

I prefer longer term pet and home minding assignments as I love to to be there with your pets, keeping them company, and not fan of going sight-seeing. I do take short-term sits, if they fit in with where I am travelling or other HouseSits I have lived in several remote location for more than 10 years now, so I am not bothered by isolation and I am happy in my own company, and in the company of your gorgeous pets, while I work (part-time), read or study.

I have travelled extensively. I know what it is like every time you travel or want to go away somewhere, what it is like to have to arrange for someone to care for your pets. I would often take my cat and my chickens to other peoples' places to be looked after (and friends used to bring their chickens to my place to be looked after with mine), but in the end I found it was easier to leave them at home in their familiar environment, and have someone stay and look after them.

Even pets who are normally quiet shy or do not like strangers have often come up to me for a pat or to rub themselves against my legs, to the amazement of their owners. For whatever reason, they just love me! I have a lot of regulars who ask me to go back and mine their homes and pets regularly. The advantage of this, is they don't have to go through everything when they leave, and often they give me a set of keys, so that they can leave, knowing I am on my way. Consistently with their pets makes a difference too, as their pets know me, and I am familiar with them.

Many of my regulars always tell me that after they return home, their pets are running around the house looking for me, and checking where I am in the bedroom I slept in. So cute!
