Born and raised in Sydney, I returned to Australia after 20 years working as a teacher in the USA and have been housesitting since 2017. Cats are my speciality.
I love the freedom and adventure of living in different areas of the city, getting to know your curious and entertaining cats, and the satisfaction of providing a valuable service while you're away.

I have a Masters degree and work in NSW public service. I am also fluent in Spanish, if your animals prefer :-)
Having had pet and house sitters myself, I know you want your pets to be as calm, happy and healthy, and your home as clean and tidy, when you return as when you left.
Mature, responsible and reliable, I am a fit and healthy non-smoker, a considerate neighbour, and a careful user of electricity, gas and water.
Sits of 3 weeks or longer are preferred. However, any sit near Bondi Junction (or easily accessible by public transport) can also work.

George is a wonderful house and pet sitter. He is very friendly, communicative, organised and importantly, a true cat person! He took care to keep us updated about our cat's mood and activities regularly - photos and videos were a nice touch. The house was extremely clean and tidy and he even took care of our worm farm. We had a last minute electrical issue with our attic and George kindly helped out with an electrician while we were out of the country. Highly recommend George!

This was our second time having George housesit our three cats for us. Just like the last time, George was very professional, and took great care of our place. He double checked the previous instructions we gave him were still up to date, and checked in with us while we were away with any questions he had, and provided updates and photos on our cats. George took care of our place and our cat, Moustaki, for almost two months, and we're super happy with how it all went down. He made sure he had all the info he needed to look after Moustaki, our home, and even our plants while we were away. Having someone so reliable and trustworthy taking care of things was a huge relief.
George kept us in the loop with regular updates during our trip, and coming home to a happy cat and a tidy house was the best feeling. Highly recommend!

George stayed at our house over the 2022 Christmas/New Years holiday period for almost a month and took care of our two cats, Clarke and Charlie.
George was very punctual and considerate with his communication and timing, and was sure to send a load of happy cat pictures. When we got home the cats looked so well looked-after they barely missed us!
The house was clean and tidy when we got back, and the sheets was washed and all beds made. Highly recommend.

George cared for our house and cat Maddie while we were away. We found him to be an excellent communicator and was fantastic with Maddie. When we left home she required medication for an eye infection and George came to the party! He updated us regularly with shots of her responding to the meds. We would not hesitate to engage him again and highly recommend him. Thanks George, always reassuring to know while away that things are are in very safe and caring hands.

As a result, of his attentiveness and duty of care, my two cats looked really happy and excited upon my return as a result of having been well looked after during my time away. This is a very different experience to being put in boarding or making them go on long drives where they would be distressed after returning home.

George house sat for us during a week in December. He is a terrific house sitter. You could not find a more trustworthy and honest person than George to look after your house and pets. He really tried to make friends with our elderly cat, but she dislikes most people (including me) and only has eyes for my wife. But still he tried. George really looked after the house and did a super job keeping things in order. (A house sitter is a guest in your home, and you need to be a proper host by ... Our very fussy fur babies loved having George take care of them. They need special medication and food and George kept great records for us.
We got lots of pictures and updates which we loved as we missed them while we were away.

We had plenty of applicants but wanted to have George look after our fur kids seeing as he is a cat specialist and we are so glad we did! He is a great communicator and made the process easy when organising a time to meet and then to handover keys plus also kept in communication while we were away. We received regular updates on our fur kids and plenty of pictures. They adopted him like he was part of the family which was nice to see. he left the home spotless and even washed and changed the ... George had to medicate him and was so caring. He even messaged to reassure me our dog was safely inside with him during a severe storm.
It's such a relief to find someone you can absolutely trust with your home and pets, who is reliable, responsible and also very caring. George made sure he knew the drill, checking ... George looked after our cat Floyd and our garden so well while we were away for a month Sept-Oct.
Floyd even started looking for him once he had left.
George sent us photos and kept us up to date.
Our garden looked good and our apartment even better when we returned, leaving only jet lag to worry about.
