Hello!

I'm David and I currently live in Brisbane, Australia.

I bring a wealth of experience and responsibility to home and pet care. Animals hold a special place in my heart, particularly dogs. Over the years, I've also lovingly cared for my family's cats, guinea pigs, rabbit and fish.

Having been a home and pet owner myself, I am very familiar with the responsibilities that come with keeping your home in order and ensuring your four-legged companions are happy. I ran my own consulting business for the last 12 years of my professional career in financial services, so I also understand the importance of attention to detail and reliability.

I've had firsthand experience of being on your side of the house-sitting fence, so I know that you will need to feel very comfortable with the person that you entrust to care for your home and pets.

I am currently available for house/pet sits from the Gold Coast to the Wide Bay region and am happy to consider sits in other places too..

David was great with communication, keeping me updated with how the animals were going and sending me through photos. Reminding me to vote, and letting me know what mail had come in. He let us know that the lawns were getting long and mowed them for us. We have a large 60kg mastiff and David offered to and then did clean up his "business" from the back yard for us (that's a BIG job lol). We also have two indoor cats. David sat for my 3 fur kids, whilst I was away over seas for 3 weeks. I have a lively cattle/collie/kelpie cross and my 2 beautiful cats. He looked after them with the upmost care and kindness. I arrived home to very happy animals. His communication was fantastic, before and during the sit, with regular updates and photographs, putting my mind at ease whilst I was away. David was great! He took great care of our mischievous labrador, fish, and house. He sent regular updates to let us know how everything was going. David made sure we were comfortable with him and comfirmed everything leading up to our trip. Couldn't be happier.

It's always concerning allowing a stranger in your sanctuary, even when they're police checked and have reviews... David was an absolute super star. Looked after our house as we would. David has been a wonderful house sitter! I have used him 3 times now and every sit has gone extremely well. He is extremely neat and clean and has left the house as he found it each time. My cats have been happy and well cared for. My garden has also been well cared for. David has given me exactly the level of communication I have asked for. He has also asked questions when he has been unsure of something. I highly recommend David and will likely be using him again in the future.

We returned after a week away to find a very happy well looked after kelpie dog. David was a good communicator prior to our break and keeping in touch until the day of our departure. He sent us regular photos of our dog playing with him and walking with him and meeting up with her doggy friends at the off leash park near our house.
