Hello! We are the Platt family, an Australian couple in our 40s and 50s , joined by our affectionate four year old son. With a blend of Australian and French influences, our family dynamic enriches our perspective and equips us to adapt to diverse environments.

Our background in healthcare and nursing contracts have instilled in us a deep sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a passion for exploring new surroundings. We are passionate about traveling and meeting new people, so our next adventure will take us around Australia, while working as travel nurses.

Our flexible schedule allows us to balance our nursing contracts with our house sitting responsibilities effectively. Whether you are planning a brief getaway or an extended vacation, you can rely on us to provide diligent care for your property and cherished pets. While we are just starting our house and pet sitting journey and may not have prior reviews, we are happy to provide character references, background checks, and any other documentation to assure you of our credibility.

We own our own house, so we understand the importance of having reliable people to take care for what is valuable for us while travelling. We are lucky to have good neighbours who keep an eye on our house and feed our 3 fishes while we are away.

While we don't currently have other pets as we aim to travel for a bit, we both had dogs and cats in the past. My mum used to have a small farm with rabbits, chickens and goats, so I have been around animals most of my life. My husband’s mother bred dogs, and they all lived on a farm that bred cattle, and pigs, and they also owned horses, chickens and a cat in the past. So my husband has also been around animals quite a lot.

We would love to give Oliver, our son, the same fantastic experience while we are waiting to settle definitely and have our own pets.

He is himself very familiar with pets as he interacts gently and respectfully with many dogs when we go to the park and visit friends with pets. His day care also has a ranger program with goats, chicken and all sorts of reptiles.
