Fae & Jay

Firstly, let us introduce ourselves. We are Fae and Jay, an English couple on our next adventure in Australia. One of the main reasons we chose Australia was our keen interest in wildlife and experiencing a whole new and exciting ecosystem. Even before our lives together, we have always been surrounded by domestic pets. Jay's first dog was Scrappy a laidback compulsive sniffer and Patterdale Terrier and Fae's Mylo, an energetic, mischievous Cockapoo. Since then we have combined experience with breeds from retired Greyhound racer to Lurcher to West Highland White Terrier.

In November 2023, we looked after a litter of eight kittens from birth to 12 weeks old and saw that they all went to suitable homes in the best of health. Jay has extensive experience with cats due to living with a cat adorer most of his life, his mother. In more recent times, we dog sat a Cockapoo for a period of eight weeks for a family member. During this time we also house sat a four bedroom house with a large garden while the family were on their travels.

We have both worked in housekeeping, Fae more so than Jay but both have got the coveted 'hospital tuck' down to a tee. We are naturally clean people and enjoy order and routine lending ourselves perfectly to the maintaining of a neat and tidy environment. In our spare time, we are heavily invested in fitness and keeping healthy. Yet another motivation of Australian living was the health-focused lifestyle compared to back home. We are compassionate and loving people with animals and humans alike.

The remote nature of our work allows for us to be flexible on location and we are always looking for new opportunities and connections.
