We are recently retired High School teachers from Cowra, NSW. Between us we have spent many years in Sydney and towns in rural areas.
We are both comfortable maintaining peoples houses and gardens. We own our own house and have self managed a couple of investment properties in our home town.
We both grew up with cats and dogs, and had dogs as family pets while our 3 children grew up. We enjoy caring for other people’s pets.
We have completed several short term house sits over the last 2 years and received great reviews.
Elka prides herself on leaving homes immaculately clean!
We are looking to combine some travel within Australia with sitting houses for others.

We were extremely happy with Steven and Elka looking after our home and our puppy..Ruby. We were very appreciative of the text and photos showing our puppy having a most enjoyable time despite the poor weather. Their communication with us was excellent including updating us about several deliveries. Upon our return we found our house very clean and tidy and our puppy healthy and happy. Steve and Elka were fabulous house sitters. They communicated well and arrived punctually before we departed. They looked after our fur babies and sent us pictures of them out and about on walks. I did wonder if the dogs would want us back! Our dogs were happy and healthy when we returned and our house was left immaculate. We have invited them back again!
