Perhaps you have read our previous profiles, but it's time for another update.
We have thoroughly enjoyed the last few years of house sitting, as a way to escape the city, and over the last 12 months have relocated to the northern beaches of the Coffs Coast, and built a new house.
We retired 7 years ago, and our children are grown up. We would like to continue as house sitters in order to have a base for visits to Sydney, and to the Northern Rivers, to visit friends and family. As well, we want to explore further afield - WA, Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia.. The South Coast of NSW is another favourite.
Brian likes fishing, and loves being on and in the water. He is a great cook, and handy with the tools, and enjoys maintaining our new garden. He attends a weekly tai chi group. Linda has recently taken up ceramics at a local community gallery, and is discovering the thriving classical music scene in the region. She loves to swim, but has an unfinished family history research project for rainy days. She will gladly travel to Sydney for opera or ballet, and is available for some solo sits.
We are non-smokers. We love both dogs and cats, and have had many over the years, but none at present - which leaves us free to love yours!
We have each owned, maintained and renovated houses in Sydney (Turramurra, Newtown) and in Melbourne (Kew) over the years.

Linda looked after our dog, cat & house for 2 weeks and did a fantastic job. She took such care in everything & kept me well informed whilst away. When I returned the house was spotless & she had even left a gift of homemade jam. I’d highly recommend Linda.
Linda is a fantastic housesitter! She happily dropped in for a previsit to learn the ropes and kept in touch both before, during and after the sit. Our dog was very happy and content on our return, and our house and garden were immaculately clean and tidy. Everything in Linda's reviews is accurate, she is a calm, confident and very experienced housesitter. I would happily recommend Linda and we look forward to her sitting for us again.

Linda was an amazing house sitter. She happily met us over Zoom prior to the sit and as she is so experienced, she helped us understand what we needed to provide for a sit. Linda also sent us daily updates with pictures to let us know that Zac was doing well. She went above and beyond (washing towels and linen) upon departure, leaving our house as she found it. We’d love to have her stay again in the future!
WOW! With trepedation I listed my first request for a housesitter on this site. We have a beautiful new home and a new cat and I wanted the person who took care of it, to love them as much as we did. I did my research and Linda and Brian came with many glowing reviews but it was Linda's education to me of the housesitting process that made me feel in absolute safe hands. I very much recommend Linda to housesit. She is a good communicator and sent me daily photos of the cats, cared conscientiously for them, left me a clean house on my return complete with a lovely card and some chocolates! Over and above. Thanks so much Linda, you're a gem : )
Linda and Brian did such an amazing job looking after our home and animals while we visited family in QLD for the week.
Communication was brilliant, Tilly was so happy and comfortable with plenty of photos of Tilly provided and the chickens happy, the house was well looked after and lovely on return, thankyou so much Linda and Brian!
Linda and Brian spent a few nights at my home: caring for my house, garden and the feline, house manager. A warm and personable couple, they were easy to communicate with, both before and during the housesit. Freya, the afore mentioned, house manager, obviously liked them both and I welcomed the regular updates of photos of Freya relaxing with them. Returning to a tidy house and garden, plus some unexpected, chocolate treats was lovely.
Linda was great to communicate with, punctual and reliable. She was incredibly understanding when heavy rains interfered with the heating system at the start of her stay, negotiated with trades on our behalf and tolerated freezing conditions with a temperamental fire, a small heater and blankets. On our return our cat was happy, indoor plants healthy and house very clean. Thanks Linda!
Linda was the perfect kitty sitter. Came home to a tidy home and a very happy fur child. Highly recommended. Such a lovely woman who kept me updated with pics of Clover ☘️

We could not have asked for better house sitters than Linda and Brian. We were kept up to date with messages and photos of our cat Bella every day and returned to an immaculate home, sheets washed and a beautiful bottle of champagne. Its a good feeling knowing your house is such capable hands. The house and pets pretty much felt like we'd just popped out to the shops, just picking up from where we had left it all, chilled and comfy.

We enjoyed meeting Linda and Brian and wish we had more time together. Our Jack Russell was very happy on our return and the house was spotless. Even the paving had been cleaned, which was not expected. We look forward to seeing them both again!
