Hello, and Thank You for Choosing a House Pet Sitter Over a Kennel!
I believe animals are happiest when they can stay in their own home, surrounded by familiar sights, sounds, and smells.

We are David and Lisa. David has recently retired, and I have transitioned from a teaching career to running a wellbeing consulting business. We are proud parents of three wonderful adult children, two of whom are married, and we have the cutest grandchild.

With 27 years of house and pet-sitting experience, we bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to ensure your home and pets are well cared for. As property owners ourselves, we understand the importance of maintaining a household and the trust involved in house-sitting.

I am a lifelong animal lover and have had the privilege of growing up with various pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even an ant farm. David, originally from New Zealand, has experience working on a dairy farm. While my personal experience with horses is limited, I have enjoyed leading trail rides during my high school years.

Currently, we reside on the stunning Central Coast in NSW, in a house that David built. We share our home with two cats and recently bid farewell to our beloved Labrador, who passed away due to old age.

We are active individuals who enjoy walking, going to the gym, and spending time in nature. Animals, the outdoors, architecture, and meeting new people bring us joy. Our love for the outdoors is balanced by our joy in spending time at home, where we enjoy reading, gardening, and hosting family and friends. I also love cooking for others, and nothing beats the joy of sharing a meal.

House sitting offers us the perfect blend of travel, exploring new cafes, taking walks, and connecting with both new people and animals. We understand the anxiety that can come with leaving your pets and home behind, so we prioritize clear communication and will happily provide updates to put your mind at ease.

As non-smokers who rarely drink and have long outgrown the party scene, we are trustworthy, respectful, and clean. I am involved with a few charities and maintain a clean and organized space, ensuring your house is left tidy. I am detail-oriented and will follow any instructions you leave with meticulous care. Your pets will receive the utmost attention and affection, with plenty of cuddles and pats—but only if they want them.
