Originally from Melbourne we moved to Cairns in 1988 and happily lived in the tropics for 22 years, first owning & operating a scuba dive school & certified dive company & then successfully owning & operating a beautiful & successful Bed & Breakfast, "Billabong B & B". Due to our love & passion for travelling we sold the B&B in 2011, travelled extensively overseas & east coast Australia until the beginning of 2012 when we did our first house/pet sit & have not looked back, we absolutely love it, this is our lifestyle choice & we cherish it. We stopped housesitting when covid hit & finally did a renovation in a rental home we had on the Sunshine Coast, have just sold this and now ready to travel and house/petsit again
We are reliable, trustworthy, experienced house/pet sitters having completed over 90 housesits to date. We are fit, active, non smokers,love life, enjoy walking & exploring the different areas where we are staying, we love animals & when we owned our own home in Cairns we always had pets. Vicky and Ted have cared for my home and cat twice now, and have been wonderful in every way. It was a pleasure to meet them and I had total confidence leaving everything in their care. The house was left spotless, garden watered, cat happy, and Vicky and Ted had gone above and beyond to fulfil requests. I highly recommend Vicky and Ted and hope they will be able to stay the next time I require help while I am away.

It was a real pleasure to meet Vicky. Ziggy (our cat) came out to greet her immediately and seemed quite at home with her and her partner.
When we returned home after a short visit away. the house was immaculate and Ziggy looked very comfortable. We would certainly recommend Vicky And look forward to having another sit.
Five Plus stars all round for Vicky and Ted! They were amazing sitters. It was so lovely to walk back into our home to find it immaculate, with a happy dog to greet us at the door.
We felt very comfortable having Vicky and Ted in our home. They called in to become familiar with everything prior to the sit, which was fantastic - and were fastidious in their care of our home and Chilli in our absence.
I can highly recommend this couple and would have them sit again in a nanny-second.
Vicky and Ted exceeded our expectations in every way, and the boys took to them instantly. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing that all was calm at home and came back to 2 very happy spoodles and an immaculate house.
I would not hesitate to recommend them and hope they come back to help us out again in the future.
Amazing! Vicky & Ted really looked after our property and cat. Pool, gardens, lawns, outdoor areas, inside areas too - all got the Vicky & Ted touch. Great communication, respectful sitters, really went above and beyond. We can't wait to book them again!

Great communication before we left and at all times whilst we were away over the easter break. Our dog Toby could not have been happier, he's a bit special with dog aggression and had knee rehab needs. Vicky and Ted managed him very well and even gave him his massages at night too!
I would love to be lucky enough to have them stay every time we go away. Could not recommend them highly enough!

Vicky and Ted were wonderful house sitters. This is only the second time we have had house sitters stay with us and they did not disappoint. We returned to very happy doggies and one immaculate house which was so lovely.

We were very happy with Vicki and Ted. When we met them, my wife and I felt that they were genuine people whom we could trust. Whilst we were away, they kept us well updated with emails and text messages. They also took great care of our dog Polo and my daughters lizard Pablo. Our neighbours have commented that they saw our dog happily walked/exercised everyday. Upon return, our house was in immaculate condition, lawn freshly mowed, pool well maintained, cut flowers in a vase and a home cooked ... MORE
Vicky & Ted looked after our place and I can not speak highly enough of how amazing these two are. The communication was professional right from the start and they are two of the nicest people you will ever meet plus most importantly they looked after our place better than we do! Ted even gave me a lift to the airport and offered to pick us up on return, they rescued our garden from some challenges we were having and had it looking brand new on our return. Vicky & Tom just completed a housesit for us. Our furkids loved them. They looked after everything with great care. We would highly recommend them.
Vicky and Ted house sat for myself and my partner while we were away in Bali for 10 days.
They did an awesome job while we were away. Our house was left very clean and tidy and the pot plants were all well watered and cared for. Most importantly, our beloved animals - 2 dogs, 3 cats and 1 turtle - were all extremely contented and relaxed when we returned home. I was so grateful for their kindness and attention to detail.

Vicky and Ted are quite simply - the very best.
My old dachshund loved them and they gave him a great time taking him to the beach and walks around the block.
They are such a pleasant, likeable and sincere couple you know immediately you don't have to worry about leaving your house and pets.
The house was so immaculate when I arrived home I didn't want to spoil it by unpacking.

We can't recommend Vicky & Ted enough. We are very busy business people and it was so wonderful for us to have a break and be able to relax and know that our fur babies were in such good hands.
