We are Brendan & Johanna, a British and Colombian couple (now Aussie Citizens for over 8 years) living our dream running a small House & Pet Sitting business full time across Australia currently at the Sunny Coast.
Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion for us, having done so since our childhood. We have a gift of being able to easily connect with animals of all shapes and sizes.
What started as an innocent love for animals has flourished into a passion for helping pet owners enjoy their stress free travels with the comfort that their furry babies are being genuinely loved and cared for.
Having the pleasure of offering our services throughout NSW and currently Queensland, we’ve had the pleasure of looking after all types of animals, breeds of dogs, cats, birds and even a few horses.
We’ve literally looked after them all!
Boxers, poodles, greyhounds, German shepherds, Maltese X’s, staffies, Hungarian pulis, Cavoodle, Japanese Spitz, Cocker Spaniels, budgies, parrots, Burmese, ragdoll cats etc… and many more!
You name it, we’ve probably had them :)
As for us, we live a simple and healthy lifestyle, enjoying regular exercise, particularly swimming and hiking, as well as practicing healthy eating and meditation. Our professions are bothonline-based and in person, with Brendan working as a Sales Consultant and Johanna being an online Spanish teacher.
Currently, we have been house/pet sitting full-time for more than 4 years, in both apartments and houses. We derive great joy from our work and will care for your furry loved ones and your property as if it were our own, catering to your requirements. We will ensure that your home is kept in optimal condition by performing tasks such as watering, gardening, cleaning, and pool maintenance while you are away.
Our services include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Providing genuine love and care for your pets while you are away, with ample playtime and cuddles
• Providing all-day care for your pets as we work from home
• Weekly updates with photos and videos that you can enjoy.
• Taking your pets on long walks (3-6km) each day, provided they are capable
• Taking your pets on 1-2 day trips per week to the beach or bush walks
• Accompanying your pets to vet appointments and emergency visits if necessary
• Administering necessary medication, including flea and tick medication
• Monthly or fortnightly grooming if requested
• All plant and garden care, including lawn mowing, wipper snippering, and watering plants
• Leaving your home in the same condition as we received it.
Our main goal is to help you enjoy stress free travels whilst away from your fur babies.

Our first three-week trip away from our two dogs was filled with anxiety, particularly as our smaller dog, Cappy, had injured his leg just before our departure. His injury required rest and medication, which unfortunately upset his stomach. In this challenging situation, we entrusted our beloved pets to Jo and Brendan. From day one, they showed an immense level of care and attention. Their regular, detailed updates, complete with pictures, were incredibly reassuring. Jo's kind gesture of ... This sit was the longest we'd been away from our beautiful pets and Brendan and Jo made us feel at complete ease that all would be ok and it absolutely was. Despite a few house issues (on our side) Brendan and Jo went with the flow and offered to help wherever possible. Communication was good with regular updates. The house was left immaculate and the pets were all healthy and happy. Additionally, due to changes in our plans, we were back early and they took this in their stride and ... We couldn't have asked for a better first experience with Aussie house Sitters. Brendan and Johanna made it all so easy with great communication and being quick to settle in. Our dog Cody took to them straight away and we appreciated the photos we received of him being walked, fetching and enjoying warm cuddles. We wish them all the best and hope Bren and Jo might be available in the future for a more lengthy sit.
CLEM (Balmoral Ridge QLD, Aug 2023 - 5 days/4 nights)
Brendan and Johanna house sat for us for 2 weeks. They are a lovely couple. The most important thing for us is the care for our dog honey and cat Tonka. Both furbabies where looked after wonderfully and very relaxed with them. Brendan kept us up to date every few days with photos of the furbabies. Highly recommend Brendan & Johnanna.

Brendan and Johanna were a pleasure to have as our house sitters for two weeks. They came and stayed the night before we left and in that time we were comfortable leaving our home and dog Ali with them. Ali took to them immediately and I am sure that she would have preferred for us to stay away longer... she got pampered like a princess.
Our home was clean and tidy on our rerturn, making it easy for us to come home to. Thank you Brendan and Johanna.
