Hello! We are two registered secondary school teachers from Melbourne. We have taken the year off work and are travelling Australia in our van, house sitting along the way as a break from “van life” and a chance to experience the local areas more in depth.

We have done a variety of house sits all around Australia, from suburbia to farming properties (please see reviews below). We have cared for dogs of all varieties, cats, fish, chickens, cattle, and more! We have also maintained pools, mowed lawns, and really enjoy gardening, so any watering etc is all good with us.

We are calm, quiet, respectful individuals who would take great care in looking after your home and animals. We are clean and organised, don't smoke, and overall are very easy going. We are good communicators and very happy to provide regular updates with how your pets / property is going. We have never cancelled a housesit and like to plan ahead our travels, so you can be assured that we would be committed to the housesit once organised. We have our own car.

We like being active outdoors such as hiking, swimming, long distance running, surfing. We love trying new coffee spots and local food/produce. Reading a good book and yoga too.
We both have experience looking after a variety of small and large animals, particularly myself (Jess) who grew up owning and riding horses.

It was like we were never away, the house, garden and pets were all cared for exceptionally well. We received photo updates with the dog and you could tell he was very relaxed and enjoying his carers. Thanks again Jess and Jack, its our first time using house sitters and it has eased our minds and will continue to use for future plans.

Jess and Jack were fantastic, easy to communicate with prior and during the housesit. Jess sent me photo updates of the ‘boys’ walks and beach outings. The house was in perfect condition upon my return. I would highly recommend this lovely couple to housesit and look after your animals.

I highly recommend Jess and Jack. From our first video chat I knew they would be perfect houseitters and we trusted them 100% with our home and pets (cat and dog). They sent updates and photos every few days as requested and the house was exactly as we left it when we returned. I’m happy to be a referee if home owners want to reach out with questions.
