Our motto: It's all about them!
We are Mark and Jo, a couple of friendly, compassionate empty nesters, semi working on a laptop from home. We would love to come to house sit and look after your fur babies with the utmost care, providing comfort to them, allowing peace of mind for you while you are away.
As former dog/cat owners we understand the feelings that come with going away from your beloved animals as we also went through it ourselves.
We had to say goodbye to our beloved family member of almost 15 yrs - Jessie a kelpie/Jack Russell cross 3 years ago and one thing we miss being nomadic, is that we can no longer have our own family pet. Can we come and spoil yours (full respect to your house rules of course!)

Our aim is to provide whatever their routine is to keep them happy at home, along with extra cuddles, walks, any special needs they have, etc. This gives you peace of mind so you can enjoy your holiday. We do like to send photo updates too.

ABOUT US
Housesitting has enabled us to explore different areas, before we find our forever area to reside! We lead a low key but active lifestyle, preferring the simple things in life. Spending time and helping with family, (3 adult kids and partners), walks on the beach, homebaking (normally for others!), sewing (just Jo!) a bbq with close friends. Both non smokers.
Marks original work experience is in construction, design and project management.
Mine is mainly in retail, 15 years in a customer service role...I am a great communicator and very easy to get on with so I'm told!
Working from home means we can lavish all the attention they want! Dogs or cats, birds, fish... as well as look after your home, taking care of outdoor landscapes if needed.
We take a lot of pride in our living quarters, wherever we are. You can be assured we will look after your place with love and respect, like it was our own.
We have varied home maintenance experience between us having managed a complex with pool and manicured gardens.
Nothing is too much trouble for us!

Jo and Mark did an outstanding housesit for us once again. Their communication was excellent especially reports of Bunny who I think had a better social life with them than with me!! The house and all my plants were in great condition and Bunny had even had a bath!
We may need to plan future holidays depending on their schedule! đ

Jo and Mark looked after our home on acreage and our 4 pets beautifully for two months. We returned to a home cooked meals , mowed lawns, happy healthy pets and a very clean and tidy house. Could not recommend this couple more highly yo look after your home and pets
I would have no hesitation in recommending Jo and Mark to care for your pets. My aging cat had problems which they were able to handle efficiently.. She is 17yrs old and most precious. We came home to a happy healthy contented cat with a great appetite.
I would say Mark & Jo are better housekeepers than me. My house was exceptionally clean and they even set up for my daughterâs visit. Mark is a dream. He remodelled & planted my overrun front garden..

We are very confident leaving Jo and Mark look after our home and pets. It is sparkling clean and tidy to come home to and the pets are calm and relaxed. The regular updates about the pets and quirky messages from them was fun.
Finding a meal in the fridge to have on the first night home after a long absence is such an appreciated bonus. Our expectations were exceeded. Thanks you so much.
We were blessed to have Jo and Mark looking after our fur kids and our home. Unfortunately Opal our older girl passed away while we were away. Jo and Mark were great communicating with us the whole time we were gone. And helped our daughter make arrangements for opals cremation.. It was a devastating time for all off us. But we could not have asked for a better couple to be with Opal for her last few weeks, and great support for her mate Louie.

Jo and Mark were excellent house sitters. We returned from our holiday to an immaculate house with dinner in the fridge plus other very thoughtful little extras. They also keep us informed about our two Jack Russells dogs with pictures and little stories of their adventures while we were away. I have no hesitation in recommending Jo and Mark to anyone who required house sitters to care for their property and pets in a very professional, caring and personal manner.

We were so pleased to find Jo and Mark, we not only found the most awesome sitters but have two lovely new friends. Pippi adored them both and was very happy and settled. I received regular updates and photos of her at home and out walking. The house was impeccable and Jo had even made a yummy dinner and left it in the fridge for us as she knew we would be tired. We sincerely hope Jo and Mark will sit for us again as they were amazing!
Highly Recommendedâ Our dear dog Koby could not have been luckier to have Jo & Mark care for him while we were away. Koby has a few little quirks, but Jo and Mark weâre able to manage well with these and we arrived home to a happy contented dog. All communications with Jo & Mark were answered promptly. Jo and Mark were outstanding house/pet sitters. Bunny looked well taken care of and our house was perfect on our return. Unfortunately we had a medical issue while away and Jo went above and beyond to make our homecoming beautifully comfortable. My friends want to know if theyâll housesit in North Carolina, USA!

Dogs: We had forgotten to leave out dog leads so Jo & Mark promptly purchased new ones which showed that they genuinely cared for the wellbeing of our 2 labradors; who were both happy and healthy when we returned home.
Home: Jo and Mark went above and beyond to ensure that everything was clean and tidy. They even washed and dried the bed sheets and remade the bed before leaving. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that they had left us homemade soup for our dinner. A lovely gesture that ... MORE
Jo and Mark did a fabulous job looking after our kelpie, the cats and our home. Mark addressed some unexpected maintenance issues with no fuss. When we arrived home the house was beautifully clean and tidy, and the lawns mowed and edged. It was a joy to find our animals relaxed and contented, and our dinner in the fridge. We especially appreciated the regular photo updates of the animals. Communication was easy. We highly recommend Jo and Mark and would gladly have them back.
Jo and Mark went above and beyond! They were flexible with my last minute change of plans due to health issues. They cared for Pumba and my home as if it were their own. Pumba was so well loved and I was provided with regular updates. My home was spotless upon return, and theyâd even tended to the garden. Iâd have them back in a heartbeat and I wouldnât hesitate to recommend them! đ
