We are Viola and Jan, a couple traveling the world together. We travel very slow and like to stay longer at one place to really get to know the place and people and their life and culture.
We love animals and they love us back.
Both of us had animals from child age on (cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, ..the usual)
Outside Australia we were volunteering here and there and our last place was a buffalo dairy. There they also had pigs, rabbits, dogs and a lot of cats, which we also fed and cared for.
Here in Australia we had some really good experiences with housesits in Perth, all with cats and one little bearded dragon! Also we took care of a few chickens in Cairns!

Jan and Viola were great with communication. They kept us reassured that the cat and chickens were settled. The garden was easy for them and the house was clean on our return. I would ask them again - if they had stayed in Cairns!

Viola and Jan were lovely, and I felt very comfortable leaving my apartment and cats in their hands. Their communication was clear, and prompt and they sent me updates and photos while I was away. They gave my cats lots of love, kept my plants alive and left the apartment looking spotless. Would definitely recommend!

Jan and Viola were absolutely brilliant. I was worried about leaving my very shy cat but they made her feel so comfortable she slept on the bed with them. They kept me regularly updated on how she was doing and left the house spotless. They also kept my many outdoor and indoor plants alive during an intense heatwave. I would not hesitate to recommend these sitters.
