Hello!

We are retired Post Office owners, currently enjoying an extended holiday combining house-sitting and caravanning.
Presently in Queensland house-sitting, but will finish up in the Hervey Bay area in early January 2025.
After that, we will be making our way back over to Western Australia, however, we are making ourselves available to help anyone who needs a holiday - (along the way to WA) and requires clean-living, non-smoking, quiet people to look after their home, and pets.

We don't have a pet of our own, but are experienced in looking after cats, dogs, chickens, fish, horses, and even cattle (we are ex-farmers too!) Our only requirement is that we have space to park our 22ft caravan on-site.

These two were the best house and pet sitters I have ever had! They looked after my 2 beautiful cats, one who is very sceptical of strangers, like their own. Both of my cats loved them. They dealt with 3 horses. 1 Thoroughbred that needed hard feed twice a day and rugging and un- rugging am and pm according to temperature, not time! The 2 stock horses were attended as well, one of whom was very difficult and had trust issues. Hooves were done once a day and everything in between. They ... MORE

Duane and Heather are amazing people. Their care and attention to our house, land and most importantly our pets was without reproach. They took loving care of everything and ensured that our pets did not have any separation anxiety. We were able to get away on our holiday and relax knowing that Duane and Heather had everything under control. Our expectations were far exceeded. Safe travels to our new friends.

Incredible, fantastic house sitters and all round nice people. They looked after our house (and dog and 5 chickens) for 5 weeks and came home to an unrecognisably clean, organised, tidy place. I cannot recommend them more highly. The only complaint is that my dog tells me that she would now rather have Heather and Duane as her parents 😍😍
