What's around that corner

We are an enthusiastic, energetic couple who seek out new adventures. We are having a late gap year, exploring what might be around the next bend in the road, around the next corner on the track or in the next bay if we are paddling our kayak.

We are both very practical and have embraced the challenges we have encountered on our journey.

We miss our fur family so would love to spend time with and care for other people's pets.

Sadly, we have experience with sick and older dogs and have empathy and compassion in these situations.

Trish and Jon have been absolute stars taking care of our 4 year old cat! J&T were fully engaged with communication from start to end… and beyond!! Our home and cat was looked after more than I could image. Trish done some weeding and even planted flowers for us. Homemade soup, fresh eggs, bread and milk left in the fridge for us after our long journey home. From the moment of our first contact with Jon and Trisha, we felt immediately comfortable, and very confident they would be excellent house-sitters - and that's exactly as it turned out. I would highly recommend Jon and Trish for future house sitting elsewhere and would welcome them back here again any time. Even though they’re novices at this game they were the dream team and willingly took on constant care of new bushland plantings and keeping seedlings and pop plants alive in warm weather on my 15acre rural property, checking everything regularly . The house was spotless when I returned. They are highly communicative, friendly and dependable.
