Hi there. My name is Wil, I'm a non-smoker/non-drinker and have genuine written and verbal refs.
I'm 59 and a writer. I've had extensive experience looking after the wants and needs of many a treasured family member: cats, dogs (all and every kind) chooks, sheep, cows, donkeys, a grumpy mule and a one eyed crow named Arthur. I am a plumber by trade.
I am currently in New Zealand finishing an MA at Victoria University Wellington, but looking to return to Australia to work on a final draft of my novel.

I'm an extremely quiet and respectful house guest. I'm a full time writer so I work from home. I can provide lots of attention to your lovely friends.

Wil has been amazing and we would definitely have him house sit for us again in the future. Our cat is really shy and hesitant around people but Wil has been great with him and managed to become best buddies. He definitely is a cat whisperer. Communication has been amazing, with regular updates on how things with our cat have going. He has also keep the house, gardens and lawns in immaculate condition. 10/10 would recommend Wil for any housesit.

Good, pro-active communication and the offer to provide lifts to and from the airport was thoughtful and much appreciated. House was left clean and tidy and plants well cared for, although some kitchen items were left in the wrong place, necessitating a bit of searching when we returned.

We were so happy with Wil & Karen, they were wonderful cat/house sitters and I would happily have them again or recommend them on :) They sent update pics of our two happy cats and I even got a pic of my indoor pot plants thriving haha Wil dropped us off to the airport on arrival (with a baby in tow too!). And had offered to pick us up as well. We ended up having to unexpectedly cut the sit short by two days and Wil was so accommodating and flexible which was a relief at a tough family time. ... MORE

Wil and his partner did a fabulous job as our housesitters, and we're so grateful for their care. Our cats were clearly very content when we came back home, we loved the regular photo updates and the house was CLEAN and tidy. Wil is very prompt and thoughtful in his communication. Will provided excellent care of our cats and our home while we were away for almost a month. One of our cats has special needs, and we were able to rest easy knowing Will was giving him his twice daily insulin injections. Communication is Wil's strenth. From his emails, photos, texts and calls, Wil set himself up for a successful housesit and then achieved everything we asked of him. He looked after our home for us very well and we were able to relax back into "life"when we returned home as he had everything ready for us - inside and outside.
