We are a semi-retired couple, having had long professional careers in the health sector.

We also have an extensive history of owning and running a number of successful and award wining B&B's .

We are resourceful, enjoy gardening and are happy to bond with your much loved animals.

Non smokers, clean and tidy 'types' who are keen to travel and would regard it to be a previlage to sit your home and to be trusted to look after your pets the way that you would like them to be. Infact we pride ourselves on giving the pets in our care an inordinate amount of attention and love.

Between us we have a wide range of skills including; business and communication skills, pet care, home care, maintenance of your home or business, outdoor care and gardening, farm work, fencing, welding and much more...

Honest , reliable and being great belivers in old fashioned 'common sense', we belive we would be able to manage most situations for you.

As we invariably bond with your animals we are always very open to 'return sits'.

Finally we are very conscious of our impact on the environment and attempt to always minimize our 'footprint' in our lifestyle and in your home.

Re Elizabeth and Ian,

We contacted Elizabeth and Ian, through Aussie House Sitters who we have used several times previously with single sitters. They sat our house in East Brisbane for a seven week period March today this year 2015.
We are delighted at the job they did at our place, being very capable at keeping the house and garden in the very best condition. Ian was also very handy with maintenance having done a few things that he noticed attention as well as keeping the batteries in our cars charged etc. Elizabeth was very quick to notice and advise anything that we needed to be aware of, including the possibility of flooding during a heavy period of rainfall and quickly made the necessary preparations.
Both having medical backgrounds meant they were excellent at looking after our dog who needed a visit to the vet and afterwards ongoing home treatment for a period. The dog was thoroughly spoilt and bonded very well with both of them.
We will not hesitate to ask Elizabeth and Ian to sit for us again and hope they willbe free to do so when we plan our next holiday. Regards Tm and Robyn Day 07 38958372

Elizabeth and Ian were fabulous house sitters. We returned to very happy and well cared for dogs and our house was much cleaner than when we left it ;-) Couldn't recommend them highly enough!!

We cannot recommend Ian and Elizabeth too highly!!! In fact if we didn't I'm sure our dog Nina would be very unhappy!!! Ian and Elizabeth took care of our home and American Staffy Nina for 2 weeks and did such a good job that when they had to continue their journey Nina fretted!!! Our home was immaculate when we got back with a lovely potted flower left as a gift and a super happy and contented dog. Elizabeth and Ian has been caring for our house and 2 dogs for 5 weeks during July and Aug 2015 , while we were away in Europe - and the house was in great shape when we came back! We have 2 cocker spaniels with very different ages ( old and grumpy and young and full of beans ! ) so we know it is not easy caring for such individual ages!! We Had Elizabeth and Ian housesit and look after 2 small dogs for us for 12 days in May. We found them to be very professional we only met them on the day but we were very happy to leave and know that everything would be looked after. Ian picked us up at the airport the dogs were pleased to see us but obviously had been well looked after, the house was perfect and we even had baking left for us. We would highly recommend Elizabeth and Ian for any housesit and we would have them back again.

Left in their care were 130 head of sheep, a very active 2 year old kelpie dog, highly prized tropical fish, chickens and a heritage listed house filled with treasured antiques and all our worldly processions. Ian and Elizabeth were unknown to us prior to their house sit, we found them on Aussie House Sitters.com some five months before our departure, during these five months, Elizabeth maintained continuous contact with me so we could get to know each other, primarily to put any misgivings I may have had at ease. During our absence they had to deal with the effects of damaging 110km winds, repeated total fire ban days, when they elected to remain with the property rather than seek out the relief of the coast. They checked on perimeter fences and stock twice daily and Ian demonstrated his capability to deal with sick and dying stock when the need arose. Through the period of high fire danger days with hot winds they kept our extensive ornamental and productive gardens alive, paying special attention to a large number of newly planted seedlings that required special attention. They proved equally diligent and caring of our house and contents, it was spotlessly clean on our arrival home, towels laundered, milk in the fridge and fresh muffin awaiting our return. Ian and Elizabeth were meticulous, taking great care in attention to detail, writing us a daily summary of farm events and replenishing basic supplies un-asked and not expected of them. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this wonderful couple for any house-sit position they apply for; they are honest, decent and trustworthy people. It was so great to have Ian and Beth mind my house and look after my crazy animals. Everything seemed to go very smoothly, my two dogs, two chickens and one cat seemed very settled when I arrived home. My house was kept in perfect condition and Ian completed a couple of handy jobs around the house. I appreciated that very much. I would certainly recommend them to any one else and would love to have them look after my house and fur-kids again.
