Greetings! We are Gustavo and María Laura, an Argentinean couple with a deep love for plants and animals. Gustavo, a kindergarten teacher with a focus on Waldorf education, and María Laura, with studies in biology and conservation.

We are currently passing through Australia on visas that allow us to work and study. We are both employed, and Maria Laura pursues her studies online. As our work schedules differ, it is likely that there will almost always be at least one of us at home.

We are passionate about immersing ourselves in nature, whether it be camping, exploring trails, taking walks on the beach, observing animal life or simply enjoying a good book about wildlife. We also share an interest in art and enjoy watching films together.

As non-smokers, we value a healthy lifestyle and are committed to caring for the environment. We are excited about the opportunity to care for your home, plants and animals with the same love and attention that we give to our own (waiting for us in Argentina).

With the promise of responsibility and affection, we look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of your home and your adorable furry companions.

Maria and Gustavo were the best house sitters we have ever had. Two lovely, intelligent, caring people who left our house in excellent condition and our dog very happy. They sent photos and updates everyday if our dog and everything she was doing. They were there when we got home and greeted us with a welcome package! I love these people and would thorough recommend them.

Gustavo and Maria looked after our cat Bozo and labradaor Dougie for 5 weeks while we were on holidays and we cannot recommend them highly enough! Amazing communication, lots of photos, and we could tell that they genuinely loved our boys and were looking after them so well. They left the house cleaner than it had been in years! They are just the loveliest people and we cannot speak highly enough of them. We are sad they have moved to Hobart and we can't have them sit again. Thank you Gustavo ... MORE

Super happy with how Maria Laura and Gustavo cared for our Stella girl and our home. Amazing communication, and they even left us a gift on their departure! We couldn’t be more please and highly recommend them for any housesitting needs!

It was such a pleasure to have Maria and Gustavo stay and look after our house. Truly wonderful people. Our animals loved the attention and the house was so clean when we got back. They really went above and beyond. This was our first experience using House Sitters and it has really calmed our nerves. I highly recommend Maria and Gustavo and we could not be happier. What a lovely couple! Our Tully fell in love with them immediately and they looked after him so beautifully. Their communication was so good and we were so comfortable leaving our home and fit baby in their care. Cannot speak highly enough of them and would have them back in a heartbeat.

Thankyou Maria and Gustavo! You were amazing 👏 I was receiving constant photos and messages whilst I was away showing how well cared for my animals were. When I returned my house was cleaner than when I left! And they left me a small gift and thankyou note when I feel it should have been the other way around. I'm looking forward to have them stay again. Thankyou!!

Maria and her friend Gustavo were excellent sitters who were fast to respond, reliable and left our house very tidy. They cared for our two dogs, one cat and 5 chickens. I noticed they had cleaned the old wood shavings in our chicken coop which was above and beyond what was required, and I greatly appreciate that. This sit was booked at last minute due to another person cancelling, and I am grateful they could assist at short notice. Thank you. 100% would recommend them.
