I worked at a horse farm in Taupo for 5 months, where I took care of the horses (feeding, mucking out, grooming & riding) and chickens daily and often looked after the property and animals when the family was away. I also helped out feeding the cows at a friend’s dairy farm in the Bavarian alps during the covid lockdown.

Hello lovely home owners,

I am Elena, 29, from Germany. I spent the last year travelling New Zealand (doing multiple housesits) and am now exploring Australia.

I am working on building my online business, which is why I am looking for a beautiful and quiet place to stay, focus and work with a stunning view.

I work as a life coach, Reiki practicioner and virtual assistant. I truly love spending time in nature - for walking, hiking, cycling, exploring or just being and enjoying the views. I am very active and love movement, it is part of my daily routine.

My previous housesits had various dogs, cats, and chickens. I also did a farm stay in NZ after high school, where I looked after show jumping horses.

I love cooking and baking, with a focus on healthy, organic and nutritious meals. My parents have a large house and garden that I grew up helping to take good care of.
Back in Germany, I also had lots of houseplants in our flat that I loved to grow and take care of. Doing some work outside in your garden would be a great variation to our laptop work.

I want to do a little exploring of the area but my main focus is work, so I would be around the house most of the time.

I do not have my own transport.
