Hi, there, My name is Mylene (it's French) , aka Lane.

I am a very friendly and trustworthy 62 y.o female. I have a campervan, and a small, very clean and placid, 8 y.o. Cavoodle that travels with me. Together, we want to explore more of Australia while we contribute to the community along the way.

I am a recently retired Massage & Beauty Therapist, and I have a history in Bookkeeping and Office administration, and also Dental Nursing -way back!.

I have done a lot of pet sitting in my home and in people's houses over the years. I encourage you to look up my FB page, Your Pet Matters, to verify this. I'm sure you will see that I am good with animals, and love and care for them as my own when they are in my care through out the pics, posts, and comments.

I'm a non-smoker and rarely drink alcohol. I'm exceptionally clean and tidy, and have a high standard of personal integrity and respect of confidentiality and your privacy. I am reliable, honest and a very practical, capable, problem-solving, hands-on person who's not afraid of a bit of work!

I recently completed a 3-week house/pet sitting for Kay & Trev (from this site) at Glengarrie in the Tweed Heads hinterland where I loved and cared for their menagerie of dogs, cats, rabbits, budgies, ponies, parakeets, and chooks .

I kept Kay and Trev updated with photos and short video clips to put their mind at ease, so they could enjoy their holiday knowing not only that their pets were cared for, but loved as well. You can see see Kay's reference for me on this site. Also, I am currently farm sitting for Chris and Richard in New Moonta near Gin Gin. So Chris will give me a reference when she gets back.

I can provide phone numbers of other private client referees if required also.

My first venture into pet/house sitting and I’m so impressed. I wanted someone to love my dogs and care for them how I did so they would be happy while I was away. On my return the greeted me with their usual love then followed Lane around to introduce me to their new friend/aunty. Lane kept me updated with their antics regularly and sent pics. Lane was the BEST House sitter we have had!! From our initial communications to meeting Lane on her arrival she made us feel 100% comfortable and at ease. She cared for our home and all of of pets, sending videos and photos for our piece of mind. We arrived home and the place was spotless, animals happy and Lane even did some garden care - above and beyond thrilled!!!!! I can HIGHLY recommend Lane for all your house sitting...

Lane was a wonderful house sitter from start to finish. Communication was clear and prompt always. Lane took wonderful care of the pets, house and garden. The house and garden were immaculate when I got home - in a much better state than I left them, I'm embarrassed to say! Lane was an absolute blessing - I'd recommend her in a heartbeat.

I would like to thank Lane for taking great care of our animals especially my dogs. I was very stressed about leaving them especially Beau. Lane sent me photos on a daily basis of them reassuring me of how they were doing. Which enabled me to enjoy my holiday. Thanks again Lane.

I can highly recommend Lane to look after your pets and house. She clearly loves animals and looked after my dog and cat, feeding them and giving them loads of affection. Lane left the house in better condition than when I left!!!! Lane was honest, trustworthy and a very good communicator. She arrived on time and sent updates during her house sit. I felt very reassured that all was going well at home. Thankyou Lane for looking after my beloved pets.

Lane looked after our house and lots of animals for 10 days. We could not have been happier with her. She is a beautiful soul and our dogs loved her. Lane went over and beyond in taking care of our house as well, as the cattle, horses and dogs. The house was spotless whe we got home and she even left us a beautiful meal which lasted us two meals. Thank you so much Lane. We very much hope she will return to housesit if we can get away to visit family in Ireland and UK next year.

Mylene did a fabulous job of caring for our " zoo" for 3 weeks... thats 4 dogs, 3 cats, 6 parrots, 2 bunnies, 2 budgies, 2 ponies, 35 chooks, and some snakes!! You could see they all loved her by the time we returned! Mylene also bought her own medium sized dog, Cognac, who was a real sweet natured gentle dog who fitted in perfectly with the menagerie.
